Those are not all hamsters but Mongolian gerbils in those tanks. Nezu got 2 syrians in the last pics in the maroon and blue tanks.

Nice Zoozone1 but you're not scared your syrian climb up the bars (water bottle) and escape?

Tamed syrians? Actually depends. My TimTim is still not yet tamed and we got him for almost a year from a pet shop in Pudu.

Think he was mishandled badly in the shop. Till now he'll attack anyone's hands when it goes into his tank unless you got food in your hands.

TimTim is a mink banded long hair syrian.

Actually Habitrail is child company of Hagen. I find that the old Hagen zoozone is better build quality than the Habitral zoozone.

is it.... i heard syrian bite people very pain wan eh.... sure bleed lot...

Ya, i also agree Hagen quality better than Habitrail.. Habitrail the plastic like very crispy..

Pls..do not encourage people to bath their hammie...

3/4 fill water??? It's a lot!! Ur hammie can drown in the water...

DO NOT BATH ur hammie unless u hav any special circumstances....

Sigh... No ppl bother the word 'bucket' anymore. It's so small that even any hummy can stand... NVM it's nice to know that human cannot swim in a 20 feet swimming pool wihtout any ladder to get out while they can float on it. No PUN. ROFL

Added on June 7, 2009, 2:49 am

FYI, The only time I bath them is where their skin got rashes due to sleeping too much in their toilet. Other than that, bathing sand is just fine for me.
*
U jus write 'BUCKET', and it can be a lot of size...

PLUS, u never explain to newbie under what circumstances only bath the hammie, and u never explain the hidden danger that might occur when bathing the hamster.

Don expect people to understand thoroughly if u do not clarify ur sharing.

QUOTE(Sophiera @ Jun 9 2009, 12:34 PM)
Jack and Joan recommended my dad Vitakraft Emotion Sensitive Hamster 300g. He asked what is the best, and they gave me that one as the best.

When my friend saw the thing, he said my hamster one day is going to sing "squeak squeak squeak" and then squeak with the guitar like an emo band fella laugh.gif

I noticed Petshack has completely dropped Presteige off the list of foods sold. Wah, that cham ar?

What do you think of Living World Classic Hamster Food 908g. That was what bean ate
The last time I bought it, really hated the smell. It it quite fishy and just plain not nice.

And on the hamster water issue....My friend drowned his hamster before while trying to give him a shower.

My mom also bathed hamsters before, but that was because we were ignorant and nobody told us how to jaga hamsters. Then we have a handicap ham that cannot groom itself, but eventually we stopped that too.

The only batch of water that is safe for hamsters to be in is basically a freshly mopped floor, floor level tongue.gif
*
Hahahha.... I were there too when ur parents went petshack. I saw the shopping list...haha.. tongue.gif next time also wanna pass my dad a list...

If you compare to other hamster diet which contains a lot of funny colorful things, and full of corn and sunflower seeds, the Vitakraft High Premium Range are much freshier and healthier~~
