Anyway, we don make general conclusion. There are good petshop that selling healthy hamster, and there are some who really sell unhealthy and inbreed hamster... The same thing happens on breeder as well..

So i think all we nid to do is study and research more bout hamster, equip ourselves with proper knowledge, then make decision according to ur knowledge and experience.

QUOTE(red_brick_zero @ Jun 15 2009, 02:32 AM)
Question. Currently I have 1 female roborovsky. and I've read somewhere that they usually live in group. So should I buy another robo to accompany mine?

I think you can get 1 or 2 to put them together in a group, since they can do well with one another. biggrin.gif

But get the same sex with uur current one, do not breed unless u got the knowledge and with proper reason.

usually if u get those from petshop, their hammie is one batch from the breeder/supplier, and most of them are siblings...

so, if u r not into breeding, jus get single sex group as in alll male or all female..to prevent inbreeding..

If he is not doing full time on breeding, to really take good care of 40-50 hammie somemore do breeding is really hard..

unless he got hire someone to take care of the hamster while he working..

Becoz if u really do breeding on so much hammie, u nid to do lot paper work and physical work also... takes you a lot of time space and money..
