QUOTE(alvin_yong_87 @ Jan 5 2009, 08:14 PM) Dwnld then unpack RAR, transfer to correct mem card folder with other ringtones, shows as SMAP but cannot play. Message says wrong format. Tried to BT directly to handset, still same.I have added other usable ringtones this way without problem. 111 This post has been edited by oneeleven: Jan 5 2009, 11:02 PM |

Note for some of us who travel to Japan.
I just renewed my Japan Softbank prepaid. Bad news is that by end of next year there will be no more 2G service and will need to get a new phone and number for use in Japan. 111 |

I just got a weird idea...
Since I already use my TouchNgo without taking it out of my wallet, couldn't we fake a J-phone feature, Felica, etc. by cutting out the chip and sticking it inside any phone casing? Anybody know where the chip is located? 111 |

QUOTE(cloudaeris @ Mar 11 2009, 01:39 AM) i think the tng chip is embedded under the TNG logo on the front, look carefully under the light, u can see somehow there's something there I've got ori edition. Heavily printed on both sides so can't see though any part. wouldnt it nice if we can use TNG like felica in japan? I wonder if the RFID is always in the same position no matter which edition? 111 |
