Hello,

I have a problem with my 923sh.

I installed the USB driver, the computer recognizes the phone but the phone does not appear in the workplace ( with HDD ). hmm.gif
( I activated the mass storage option )

PS: Early last question,
One of how you can unlock the multimedia?

Members of singapore and Tawain forum, always ask to send them the phone with the sim to unlock everything, but, they are something that do not want to share with us is not normal that we is obliged to send his phone across the world for something that should probably take 10 seconds remaining ...

so if one of you could put me on the right path to find out how they do. cry.gif

Thank you ! notworthy.gif

is not the answer I was waiting, I'm in France, to send my phone to singapore with insurance return, it cost me $ 220 including customs fees, you can understand why it annoys me that they do not want to say how we are doing.

no i dont b/c I trusted someone else to send my 920sh and two other 920sh to taiwan to get internal unlocks to the same place and you know what? I got my phone back in the condition i sent it in working. If you read howardforums, you'll find a few people sending their phone from north america to taiwan to get their 923sh/920p unlocked a you know what after a 1.5 week wait they got a working phone that works.

I know an extent of the method used, and if you understad how the reprovisioning system works on the softbank models you would understand why they have to send the sim card with the phone.

you want to do the unlock method yourself? get a softbank ACTIVE usim then and figure out the process from there...

it is your fault you got a 923sh without know the unlock method and what it would require...should have researched it first...

I sought before buying, but the byer who talk usim inactive, he said that even an inactive usim could unlock the camera and music, but it is false, and in the forum when we try to have greater clarity, it was always the same answers, "send us your phone," I'm not millionaire me

tell me not to me personally but for everyone.

they say they need an active USIM, but it is only Japan that it can work, right ?

They are not in Japan then there's something to ask questions hmm.gif

@awong: after u had done the internal unlock, can you use multiple sim cards on your 920SH?
and how much do you actually spend for the whole process? hmm.gif

what I was trying to understand is how they can use a usim active then it can only work on Japanese territory.

that is why I said it probably do in another way, a way that could be little to ourselves, but because they want to certainly make money They keep it for them.

I wrong to think that?
and am I the only one to ask these questions?

yeah I can change sim cards on the 920sh. I just keep old sim card inside in case it does come on, I wont relock up. It was 90usd, the hypersim media unlock is about half the price. But I also ended up spending more than 2 months b/c for some reason my friend couldnt get the it unlocked using hypersim method. He was sent the wrong hypersim by the supplier in china.

youre saying that , how could they get it to work when it regiures a active japanese sim car which works only in japan ?

2nd you are saying that you could do it in another way that would cost little , and are saying they wanna make money by keepin the methods to themselves ... is that it ?

be a little difficult to understand, I'm sorry, I use google trad.

Indeed, if the USIM only works in Japan, I don't understand how they can use at home.

and therefore unlock our phones.

well, it's not serious, I am forced to wait and hope that Hypersim able to unlock the multimedia is born.

I can not afford to send my phone singapore, all this because of French customs ....

the sim card roams, its hard to get a japanese sim card that is active, you can repro a phone with an active sim if you are roaming. Its not cheap and not easy to get an active japanese sim card. Only those who can want to offer unlock service can get the active sim card.

I said it before, the sim card roams and its possible to use overseas, which you can use to repro. and unlock, plain and simple.

Lie on the customs form them, should have waited for wx-t923 or 920sh media unlock. 923sh you are just asking for trouble, and you were dumb enough to believe the seller. almost every site I've read talked about the 923sh methods for unlocking and why it requires the sim. Its been known since post 904sh/705sh that a cancelled sim will NOT work.

Later u see this model very nice, drool all over for it, when buy totally forgot bout the specs, put in sim card, then notice this phone no GSM support. laugh.gif This kind of trap.

Totally agreed. Do some research before buying & ask the seller bout the phone specs. Ask vodafone how many times I had pm-ed him & asking him questions bout the 706P.

Added on December 27, 2008, 9:37 amWait ~~ Got questions to ask again. All stock j-phones that are imported from japan comes with Japan FW right ?
