I want to ask some question as I dunno well about the material stuff
Which one is better ?
Chassis: SECC, Bezel: Metal mesh+ABS casing or Aluminum casing ?
Btw is Cooler Master casing , any different between both ?
*

chassis is the PC case body. SECC is coated steel (besi)
bezel is the front face. metal mesh you know, ABS is some kind of plastic.

aluminium, the thickness is important (for rigidity and noise insulation).
Cooler Master casings are great value for the look & quality.
just see what you like and take rolleyes.gif up to individual.

think this way:
Intel=brand. Pentium3=series, Pentium4=series, Core=series, Core2=series.
Solo=type, Duo=type, Quad=type. E5200=model, E8400=model, Q6600=model.
clear?
so far Intel make new age "Pentium" series remain 800FSB and maximum of 2MB L2 cache (and they perform pretty much like old P4 machine).
while "Core2" series have everything bigger number than those.

core 2 duo cpu can b used if i install 64bit OS??
*

Intel already have 64bit support for consumer PCs since P4 era with EM64T.
however, after the NetBurst (P4 architecture) failed, they remake a new line /series called Core (1st generation, now is Core2).
i don't know what happened, they did not include EM64T for Core Solo /Duo that time.
right now, Core2 (2nd generation) supports EM64T able to run 64bit Operating Systems.

it's a second hard disk controller, from Marvell chip.
don't use = don't install driver. you can disable this controller from BIOS too.

temperature: yes, provided you increased the CPU clockspeed (same multiplier).
warranty: not always, but stock vcore is the safer way before upgrading stock cooler.

that is earth leakage not electrostatic doh.gif people here often use the wrong term.

electrostatic case: you don't feel shock the 2nd time you touch it.
the electron flow from your body to component or terbalik will be balanced very quickly.

your case: certain PC components or monitor use casing body as "return route" to complete the electric circuit.
Earth wire job is to collect back "those electric" and lead to ground to but it was disconnected somewhere.
the electric remain there until you touch it *PPZZZZ* and flow to ground.
this explained why you leg is not hurt because you're not touching floor.

check the connection of green /yellow (Earth) wire inside power cable, plug top, extension sockets and wall socket of PC and monitor.
if you're unsure please consult electrician and TNB.

what a kalerfull post laugh.gif

theorically, yes depend on cable.
100metres for CAT5/5e cable support 10 /100 /1000(5e only) mbps
any longer you need a repeater for digital signal (modem--PC).
phoneline is much longer i think, ask TM for answer.

@danny: buy as you like, or leave it alone unless you really out of memory need that extra 1GB.

QUOTE(gadiylim @ Mar 12 2009, 01:25 AM)
Hi, I've got a PC at home that runs a 160GB hard drive. I'm running out of space and I need to buy an additional drive. The thing is, my motherboard can only support 1 SATA slot sad.gif
Just to check, I think there are no such thing as SATA extensions rite?
Possible for me to transfer it to a 1TB without losing any of my settings?
IF it's possible and you know who I can approach to do this, possible to PM me a recommendation? I stay at PJ near mid valley.
*

your PC got USB? get a external hard drive kit.

@ac_N1: warranty cover manufacturing defects, provided the chip dieded on itself.

@wengX88: trilinear for better quality.

what i want to know is what is that 16M and 32M is?
which one is better 16M or 32M and why
*

HDD cache, a small temporary storage for smoothing read write process.
performance wise 16M vs 32M cache is neligible (no feel).
want fast find the part number (ST3500XXXAS) and google for benchie.
