- chrono, moonphase, power reserve etc?
- mechanical, quartz?
- swiss, german, chinese, japanese, russian?
- shape? big round (40-50mm) or square?
- brand that ppl know easily such as longines, oris, tag heuer vs hamilton, fortis, stowa, mido etc?

cheapest omega, maybe seamaster midsize start at around us$2.7k b4 discount.
a speedmaster like the above is usually ~us$3.3k and up (b4 discount), get a used can get as low as us$1.1k.

ball watches? discount is very much controlled... discount range usually from 20-25%. 30% is hard.. today poor econ maybe possible if U pay cash.
anyway, resale value U can see its weak.. a like new Ball with over 1.5yr of warranty on it is selling 50-60% off its retail value!

generally AD prices after discount are higher than grey market. so when u see US$1960 on that site its grey market prices.

fossil used chinese mechanical movement, not really my type esp U are spending 700-900 on it.
Fossil Aviator series? look like what? a quick google didn't pick up anything but sunglasses!

I rather get the above swiss army, swiss movement. priced at US$266 on ebay a great deal considering the movement itself cost ~US$130.
U can try Tissot, Hamilton, Titoni they are swiss.

whats the lug size u looking at? usually men's watch.. those case at 42mm... lug size is around 22mm. smaller face 38-40... usually around 19-20mm would be my guess.
lug size != thickness of strap, lug size only dictates how wide the strap can get

limited budget can shop online.. grey market prices can get more watch for little $$
