i knew that the core is unactivate in 7750.i just think dunt simply says it defective and say to peoples dun buy it.

it still a decent performance proc for me.with a nice price also..
(if only i can find anyone can oc this proc to 3.8-4ghz with air cooling)

I think it can be do able with proper air cooling. Will attempt it once got some spare cash to get a better cooler.

You have to check the motherboard compatibility first. The requirements is that the motherboard must support AM2+ processor, uses DDR2 RAM, support for 95W or higher TDP processors, and most probably BIOS update may be required. Check the motherboard manufacturer website for the CPU Support List and BIOS updates.

if AM2, then i don't think ur mobo can support 7750 BE without bios update..

i'm already update it to the latest bios, the seller told me it can be suit

based on the latest bios release date, im not sure it have CPUID for Athlon 7750 , since X2 7750 release date around december..

and by theory, this proc can run on ur mobo, since Am2+ proc is backward compatible with Am2 mobo. But u lose some AM2+ features like HT3.0..etc

I don't think this motherboard can use X2 7750+, its AM2 only... and looking at its CPU Support List.. this motherboard supports up to 89W processors only. Try your luck anyway...

The motherboard must have AM2+ support to use this processor.
