i'm just wondering is it true?
from the 1st page there is couple of upgrading links...
i tought it is suitable for all HTC malaysia set...
i try enter the side from the link and try to download the ROM after entering my Serial Number and its failed with msg this rom is not suitable for my set....
called HTC support and they said only 2 hotfix is available for malaysian set.... no rom update or what so ever.... is it right?

my current ROM Version :1.18.707.3 (23358) WWE
ROM Date: 12/10/08
Radio version: 1.09.25.14

Any idea?

anyone can give us the trick on how to know which is the latest Rom version from the code number... since for me 1.19...... must be latest compared to 1.18......

go to start>setting>system>device information..then u can see ur rom version

ymchow yap you are correct hahaha i scolded them ... coz the privilege card there they mention extend warranty and now say is not included ... if not included dont put in... should create another page for extend warranty ... and they know how to say sorry sorry sorry only hahahahaha

i'm on my way to flash with one of the cooked rom . but this time just wanna make sure its gonna be safe i would like to make a backup of my rom..
but still reading here and there but its seem look very tricky and rocket saince kinda stuff
could anyone make a simple guide or explaination ...
i am a guy with pure mechanical backgroud sometimes things that i know become so hard to understand just because of expert using thire special term and short cut....
any simple guide or maybe link that ican follow ?

careful dude.. u might brick ur hd if you forgot to hard spl 1st... I was thinking of flashing some cooked rom as well, but hd has been very stable which i don't see any reason to do so..

friend, must be very careful, do REMEMBER hardSPL first....i brick my 838 pro b4 when i first time try to flash cooked rom
