It's like when the earlier Falcons were released. Some of the units came with a 205w power brick.

My friend was too eager to play games, he cant wait until recommended shops open after CNY holiday, so he bought at the shop near his house that claim the unit is Jasper

at the serial number/product ID region there, u can't miss it one

i've been playing PS1 and PS2 my whole life.... but then PS3 only has ori blu ray disc which is kinda unaffordable....kinda like playing few games a month.. i guess all my income will go to games should i go for ps3...

Not modded Arcade set is RM1020.

M$ embedded 2 feature known as "3 Red Ring of Death" and "xbox live ban hammer" to make sure you're nailed if you modify your console for various reason.


Buy original and don mod. nowadays with game that can go online, it'll last much longer than previous generation. Buying original is also showing your appreciation to those produce the game for you to play. Like me usually I either trade or buy 2nd hand. If not I'll wait for a few months till I got the spare cash for a hot title.

each xbox 360 original game is around RM145 to RM155 for normal title. While xbox live is around RM220 per year if purchased from play-asia.com.

You can search around if you insist of modding it. I think the price is around RM100~200

Is the xbox360 Jasper unit built in 256 mb is sufficient ?
btw how much space does a save game required ?

sufficient...
usually 1 game only need around 1mb~2mb save file...

i dun think so... you need more storage to store downloaded arcade titles.. and also to copy games to storage for faster access, at least an ori 20GB hdd is recommended

i have a falcon mobo that came with a 175w psu (2008-01-21 team:cson lot:0803) but on the console its stated 16.5A and on the box it says 203w psu. First batch falcons came with wrong labels i guess. 203w psu can't be used on falcons right?

So far no reported case of RROD on JAsper sets worldwide.
My jasper runs fine without any problem. when playing games I can feel it's little warm at the rear vent holes of the machine.
As the fans run at low speed most of the time(fans will autorun at high speed when the GPU or CPU are overheating), I think MS really did a good job on this new chipset revision.
