QUOTE(TechnoDude94 @ Nov 15 2009, 06:35 PM) My household got selected for "Fibre Optic BETA Testing" (FTTH) and this is our speed. Btw, I'm using uTorrent BETA on Mac (0.9.2): Look at the bottom-right, "1.7 MB/S" (Download rate, with down-arrow sign). Size: 844 MB, ETA: 4 Min 32 Secs @ 48% Completed.

Tech, Nice speed and all but please remove the tracker + hash value from the screenshot too. Anyone who Googles it knows exactly what A*hem* product you're downloading. Also, grats on getting beta! Wish they would finish up the bloody wiring in TTDI so I can get my hands on it This post has been edited by rizvanrp: Nov 16 2009, 01:07 AM

Its been a while since I posted in b2b I got myself the 2.0b version yesterday night, and I must say I am impressed with the capabilities of overcoming isp throttling. Just for a test run, i am downloading a 2.71 gb file; it is moving at 180 kb/s on a 2mbps streamyx connection. Kudos to new beta developers. This post has been edited by ff7yta: Nov 16 2009, 10:20 AM

On 2.0 beta now. Glad to say my torrents are fast I checked my speed log, and while I was sleeping it even hit 140kb/s. It's about 80-100 now This post has been edited by allornothing: Nov 19 2009, 11:56 AM

So, the ISP still doesn't figured out the way to throttle this version? Glad to know it, since my speed incredible slow all suddenly today. Yesterday it was okay with stable download rate. It might be to low seeders then. 'Cause I tested it with 4GB download, I got stable 40kb/s speed (it is my max speed), it got good seeders numbers than the leech. So, maybe I messed up some configuration, or this torrent just full of 'hit and run' peers.

It fixed DHT limitation and peers connectivity. It also got auto port forward feature and other fixes. Might worth the try, clean every utorrent configuration files and other leftovers though (registry, etc), I got an issue where I can't install the new alpha version. But then, I remove all remaining leftovers from 2.1 beta version, and it works, some users still have that problem though.
