Too bad, IMO, Sigma seems powerful though..
but IDK, maybe because of it is from SoundBlaster product line that make me feel it good.. This post has been edited by ET-Force: Aug 6 2011, 08:05 PM |

QUOTE(Jeffrey1987 @ Aug 3 2011, 10:08 PM) Their headset by far i tried the most comfortable headset.. Sound wise many can win but for a dolby 7.1 headset its considered cheap.. The comfort of the headset.. Ahh..~ hahaha.. really nice relaxing headset.. the sound depends on what you listen and the setting..The downside is many setting need to be done to get the performance + need driver CD.. |

noob question, what makes the headset a gaming headset?
i have a cheapo sonic gear headset, with small ear muff and mic. it serves me well as my friends or game teammates can hear me clearly. i don't like those ppl using the laptop's built-in mic >.< the big headphone type (the ones that covers your whole ear) i cannot tahan cuz it'll make me feel nauseous after wearing it for about 15 minutes. |

QUOTE(justnits @ Aug 8 2011, 11:41 AM) noob question, what makes the headset a gaming headset? oh, closed-back kind of headphones? those is my fav type for gaming i have a cheapo sonic gear headset, with small ear muff and mic. it serves me well as my friends or game teammates can hear me clearly. i don't like those ppl using the laptop's built-in mic >.< the big headphone type (the ones that covers your whole ear) i cannot tahan cuz it'll make me feel nauseous after wearing it for about 15 minutes. go to Jaben and try out yourself, seriously. There is a major difference when using a gaming headset and a cap ayam one, and once you set inside the gaming headset world, I can vouch that you won't turn back. Cap ayam headphones tend to sound very bright, shallow, bland, weak bass, soundstage is bad. Like single coil pickups |

1) I am using a fujitsu th580, soundcard is not an option for me for now(expect to use a usb set tilll i get a decent desktop, that'll be in 2 more years? Thus i am willing to splurge)..
Usb seem to solve that problem due to onboard sound processor which trumps my realtek hi def.. 2) Music played are all varying, i would use 'em mainly for movies. Any good phones/sets that can let me hear stuff i havent realized were in music i am listening to now(the supposed things that separate good and average phones)? 3) My headphones need not be portable because i will only use it in my room. Laptop diff story =P 4) Circumaural, must be over the ears, closed back? Most importantly i really want sound insolation. 5) Mic is a plus(Just got into Allods), i could use a separate mic, i do not really mind.. 6) Price around RM300, at most RM350? I tried to list all i think would be useful..( bonus coming up =D ) Can help recommend a pair of headsets for me? Thanks in advance! |

When playing games like FPS, you can most likely hear footsteps easier. Still depends on the quality. Certain headphones meant for FPS that will have sharper sound and weak bass so can hear footsteps clearly. Some for movies and songs. If possible then always try out before purchasing =D.. Just my 2 cent |
