QUOTE(rave963 @ Aug 10 2011, 11:34 PM) well, of course it will be louder in a sense that its directly in contact with your ears and most likely it cancels out the outside noise. When playing games like FPS, you can most likely hear footsteps easier. Still depends on the quality. Certain headphones meant for FPS that will have sharper sound and weak bass so can hear footsteps clearly. Some for movies and songs. If possible then always try out before purchasing =D.. Just my 2 cent ooo,so great..but how the price bro?and what best model.

Its call Kave =D .. hmmm .. i think the weight thing will take some time to getting use to. If you dont really use a mic, you can settle for Razer Orca . Light, got good sound quality and decent bass =D. This one I wear 3-4 hours also no pain

Kave is expensive.. but have Real 5.1 Surround system, built in subwoofer in the headset, and have better bass than Orca IMO... Orca, cheap, decent quality and stereo.
