Seems like I'm heading more towards PC 360 now. Hehe.

AKG GHS1? Same range as PC 360? I'm interested too then since PC 360 is also in my wishlist.

I think my question is pretty much being asked alot in the thread but let me just ask anyway >.<

Been deciding to own a Gaming headset and so far I only narrow down a few brand that I might go for:

1) Logitech G930 Wireless Headset

2) Razer Megalodon

3) GameCom 777

So far G930 seems to be the one I might get for but currently not available in MY. As for Razer, I heard the 7.1 was messed up. The GameCom 777 was actually recommended by a friend of mine but I have no idea about the unit.

Also, my budget is about Rm500(can increase abit) and I usually plays FPS games. Thanks in advance for any good advise from sifus here

Yeah, kind of messed up it is like you're underwater. I don't trust Plantronics headsets
G930 should be okay. But why spend so much on all this surround sound headsets? stereo headsets all the way.

If the main usage of the headset is JUST for FPS gaming, then you can consider Steelseries 5Hv2, around RM200+ 'built' for FPS gaming, but sucky at music playback.
you can hear footsteps around you clearly with this headset, true story.

I prefer something I can do both. It does not have to be really great on one side, balanced . That said, at the end of the day, I might get Logitech G35 instead. Though wired, I had the impression that it's just G930 wired Thanks for the reply mate

I prefer G930 with a choice of wired or wireless. I just bought the G930 but I need to take it back to the shop tomorrow because the "genius" (staff) at the shop gave me the F540 instead. Damn... got to blame myself because didn't check before leaving.

Speaking of "balanced", I think SS 7H and Roccat Kave is the most balanced in terms of ingame audio and normal music/movie audio.
Its just my POV tho but u can check the reviews on these 2 headsets.

All in all after searching and searching, I ended up buying an audiophiles headphones instead. Go for quality rite? Oh well.

how much is that headset? RM350+? with that budget, there is still headsets like Roccat Kave, Turtle Beach PX21, SS Sibera V2..

GS search for Heavy Arm store.
you know OU new wing basement got one shop selling those PS3 games? quite near the autopay machine there.
the shop name is called Game Flirt, and they got one TB PX21 proudly displaying at side. Price is around RM250+ IIRC, can't remember the exact price, but it is much more cheaper than Siberia v2.

I don't play consoles too just a coincidence that I saw that headset at the display window.

all the Turtle Beach headsets here is parallel imported units right? but then why suddenly the surge in numbers for TB PX21 here? even most consoles shop are selling it.

all i know is turtle beach had good soundcards way back then...now looks like they concentrate more on headsets...
dunno why would anyone want to pay so much for PX21 and get basically no warranty...must as well get the sib v2.

You can try e@curve. There's a game shop above library. I think they brought in more TB models then the PX21. The shop name is ACG btw. =)
