ya, i believe there will be N98 in 2010 but I spend thriftily and I think a N97 is more than enough di. It has nearly got everything di so unless N98 has some new technology breakthrough, for now my aim is only N97.

hehe, don worry, the white i can see is like the E90 type keyboard, not so rubbery type so won't stain dirt compare to E71, also its touchscreen so there's no numeric keypad to be dirty in the first place. and lastly, its white metal i think, so stain fingerprint yes, but definitely not dirt.

Haha... the ancient Nokia 7650, I still have it in my drawer! I remember buying it for RM 2,499 a few years back! QUOTE(Badboy @ Dec 13 2008, 10:38 AM) is it around june 2009? Approximately, could be earlier though. Let's see how things work out. But Nokia has been known to launch their products on time, not like SE whose products always get delayed into the market.

QUOTE(mrhenree @ Dec 13 2008, 01:18 PM) like N95 case, about 1 year later only got screen rotate firmware.. i can see why they don't release the rotate firmware, because you can manually rotate the screen by sliding the slider opposite direction, while phones like N82 (first phone with rotation firmware) cannot do that so it needs the auto rotate function. moreover, it's advisable to keep it off to save a lot of battery.

QUOTE(davidmak @ Dec 7 2008, 11:53 PM) Yeah so the most important thing N97 must achieve is good battery life. The 5800 will show how good is the S60 touch interface. Nokia can learn from that and improvise for N97. The 5800 is expendable and Nokia loose nothing. The N-series brand value however is important. So Nokia better get the battery performance up to expectations. So far I think it is doing a good job. The N96 was big and bulky. Not only that, it had to sacrifice on the battery size supported due to the amount of integration of features. Then it had to cut most important component, CPU to a smaller and lesser performing variant to help control power consumption. Lastly, it cannot compete with other flagship products due to the higher price point. Very true i done some benchmark here is the results.. GLBenchmark : N96 vs Iphone vs N78 vs N958GB http://tinyurl.com/6rswzxJBenchmark: N96 vs 6220C vs N78 vs N958GB http://tinyurl.com/59cn2sApaualing to see even the N78 outperforms N96 in both J and GL benchmark This post has been edited by intune: Dec 14 2008, 03:45 AM
