Your modded MS-1 pair with the secret amp, it's really superb! I've heard pcwork's recabled ms-1 with the secret amp + the caps, it's like totally another cans.

For me, definitely the secret amp is a good buy.. summore portable..

i will ler i also need u to bring something back for pcwork if u r going back to kl later....
he aledi drop saliva waiting for it.....

IMO, it is a good mid level portable amp with bass knob and slightly aggressive soundsignature
great highs, mids could be better superb bass and good layering,fast and slightly bright soundsignature

the modded ms-1 is very different from the stock ms-1
i took the liberty of comparing my hd555 side by side and pairing with my iqube and secret amp
more warm,better mids and not so bright as i thought it will be....
bass is much more controlled and highs not so sharp and edging...
it is very good can also the same performance as my hd555 but have a bit of recessed mids...and a brighter soundsignature
well i think pcwork and nick heard the ms-1 when pair with caps, they told me like gs-1k....... crazy soundstage and mids is superb good....
some teasers guys and despite wat ppl say bout opticals cable, they have transmission loss but very good ones will reduce the transmission lost to minimum effect and i have tested and compare both in fact....the high end optical gave me more tighter bass,more body and no jitter than bloody rm20 optical cable......that gave me jitters all round the clock, hard time coping with digital signal, the 1........2 sec pause celaka and sound like crap in my ears...bloated,digitalized, and very very funny weird signature that i couldnt describe....lifeless i would put it... really jialat.....

What's the 'bigger toy'? Sharing is caring lol.. now only 3 things in my mind - crystal cable, crazy caps and the ipod..

Well darkvoice 337 is sort of 1 league higher than the 332, and it's dual-mono amp. They do sound similar from 1st listening, both good match for senn's can, but 337 gives an overall improvement compare to 332 - much more impactful, dynamic and wider soundstage. Well didn't try to change the tube yet (as the comparison made is between the stock 337 and 332 with replaced tube), it might yield a better result and squeeze more out of the 337.

Well, regardless how powerful it is, it still fails to drive dt880 600ohm to the fullest..

well let me tell something guys and gals...
u can keep changing better amps and dac but still u cannot reach the highest end cos there is over 100 freaking amps out there
some sound good and pair extremely well with certain headphones some r over hype and overprice....and doesnt justifies the price for the performance....
in the end, u keep turning and circling back around and still cannot find the perfect dream audio preference for yurself
waste time,money, and u keep selling stuffs but still... how i put it still havent reached yur audio nirvana or met yur expectation...
well darkvoice 337 is good imo but still after trying it with my beyers well still cannot wow all of us....especially me
i heard how my dt880 600 ohm perform at maximum stage and i will tell the highs and lows even my crystal cable hd650 cannot cope with it.... seriously man if u thought my hd650 is that keng aledi but beyer shocked me with it's crazy meteor impact bass and super rocket's highs with B22.....my crazy basshead can.....like listening to techno and disco in freaking hall with young gu'ns shaking their heads and partying all nite...

Seems like i just miss a great gathering with u guys. I wonder how the DT880 sounds with the B22.

he also bought the Audio Technica Ck-100 Triple driver balanced armature drivers for me to test...
hmmm to my impression and compare it to 4 flagships iems, Shure se530,Ultimate Ears Triple Pro 10, Senheisser Ie8 and Westone 3
Highs as good as the Triple Pro 10 and good mids although a bit recessed imo, bass somehow is very deep but not as much and fast as Ie8
if i will choose it over W3 or UE10, i will take the Ck100 much brighter, good 3d layering and better bass than W3 but not as good mids and more crispy highs and not so coloured as Ue10....
it is more brighter like the ad2000 itself
highly recommendable and it earns it's place on of the high end iems...a good choice if u wan a brighter and highs prominent iem

Really now i;m waiting my demo set CK100 for a test too....Serious AD2000 is a good cans, Seig AD2000 now is already with my dy. after 1 weeks i hear of it is really what i expected to drive frm my class A amp. As you know class A amp is design i have is for bigger size amp as a pre amp. imagine how it works and how accurate it will be. currently i'm working out to cut over a direct voltage frm plug to using a battery instead and upgrade caps on it. As you know how good the amp using a power cable it always not the fully perfect as i know electric is very dirty and not clean at all. my Ipod currently on progress on GmoD, AND Sep90 WHY your ipod don modd it since you have a wonderful gadget and stuff you have there>>???

I have to say, I'm really glad I dint bring my full size can over. Or sure I cannot sleep liao The smaller cap in the green case is still ok for me, very good but still not enough poison. But then when I switch to the bigger caps.... OMFG Gmod ipod -> BIG Sonicaps -> Pico -> Crystal Cable -> CK100 sound just like the AD2000 to me it's like the full size can in a small package. It doesnt sound like an IEM at all!! Straight out from the portable I would say the CK100 is very similar to the AD2000 liao, although the bass is lacking a bit. But from the Gmod with the big caps I would say it's right there with the AD2000

haha, sep90 ipod cannot mod la, it's the newer ipod classic, if he want to mod he'll need to get an ipod 5.5 or the 4th gen. But seriously bro sep90, go get one!! Your big caps sound sooo good with it.

For those with no resistance against poison one, really dun try sep90's cap or you'll regret it

Maybe i wrong thought sep90 ipod is 5.5g. But if you want to gmod i think 5.5g sound is more digital compare with 4g sound. 4g is more analogue.

imho the darkvoice pair with DT880 is seriously lack of somethings. i more prefer modded MS1 than it.. =P
