errr... i found a promotion at mac city website, http://www.maccity.com.my/promo/index.html , buy ipod portable speaker. can someone confirm the promotion still valid o nor? and, hows portable speaker look aaa?? i asked machines last 2 days, can get free speaker when buy ipod touch aa? then he said, no such promotion laaaa!!

May I know for the 4GB ram upgrade, are they

1. swapping the 2GB RAM to 4GB RAM,

or

2. we pay RM488 for another 4GB RAM, then we keep the 2GB RAM?

I think only will be "suspected" to get tax-charge when you coming out from SG to Msia.

Technically, which reseller shop having more professional in fixing problems?

I feel Machines peoples are just into sales more than into technical stuff..

In a word, can get settle my case at the same hour. Like no need to fill form, and wait for call to inform what is the faulty inside machine by next day.

And Epic center seems to have proper workshop. But its gonna takes me a longer journey to drop by there.. haha..

I don't mind the long walking if they provide me on the spot checking & fixing whatever they can at the same hour.

i forgot... 1-to-1 exchange on Apple's internal side....

however i find that Apple's policy is sometimes ridiculous considering that sometimes even though workable parts are broken, Apple still insist on sending it in before ordering, especially laptops, owners are deprived of their machine to work on....

i'm sure you can get them to jot down your serial number, let them order the parts first, wait till the parts arrive, then only you send in your mbp for repair...
not even a week after launch and you're asking for promotion already...? with your kinda mentality around here, no wonder Apple doesn't wanna have a physical retail presence here...

Anyway, i wonder why Machine cannot update customer the repair status in others way instead of relying on internet connection?!

its not interest, its additional 2%. Interest would mean you keep paying each month.

Additional means if someone pays RM100 for a product, with 6 month easy pay, he would pay RM102. then its divided 6 months, for RM17 per month.

Interest would mean extra 2% each month, right?
