if u want take event,indoor or night,u gona need a tripod and flash

nikon d60 less than 2k
nikon d3000 more then 2k abit
nikon d40 2nd hand . depends the seller,usually not exceed 1.5k
then plus a nissin 622 external flash will do to fit ur budget

good picture means dslr,haha

A300 no doubt...more features and solid build


d3000...newer than d40x...d40x is super old camera...=.=

consider d3000...but i say go for 1000d and a200...

thts a lot of money...D90 and 40D and a700 all good camera within tht budget. They all have good noise control. D90 is one of the most popular.

errr...u might be able to find used 1000d or d60...but i say better fork out RM500 more to get a NEW 1000d/d3000

That budget...can get 450d edi...maybe top up 200 more to get 500d. Should check d5000 too...

yes a330 is a good choice...with 3k..i think u can get a flash with it too. Ideal for indoor shooting.

they all the same if u r talking bout entry level...but i'll say Sony has more features in their entry lvl cameras. Go to the shop feel Canon 500d and Nikon d5000..and Sony A550(coming out soon)
