Malaysia has a lot AP company. Some is using own hp shop name with own created sticker.

They told u is original when u bought the hp? TSM is AP.

Where can i buy ap phones with CSL warranty ?
Some shops in LY didnt offer with CSL warranty

is ap and original set have the same quality coz i just bought nokia 5320 AP set and only 4 month, the speaker sound turn so terrible..

i dont know what is exact different between Original and AP. i think the internal part that they are using. ?? guessing only =]

but from my experience.. Original set is much quality then AP set.. i have 2 phone from AP set and they are all end up with problem. Plus.. i repaired them for the cost as same as buying an Original set.

now only thrust Original Set. love my w595 and w705. currently work great.

my hp doesn't have sirim / kelas sticker on it? what does it mean, is my hp an AP / water / recond set?
the imem number does tele with the one printed on the body but i couldn't find any on the box.

i bought a hp from one of the shops in lowyat (not giving out the name rite now. can pm me if wanna know) about 2 weeks ago as a present for my dad. it was a n73 which im sure is not an original set. the salesperson recommended me this phone after telling him my price range of what i wud spend (i wasn't sure what hp to buy at that time).
i bought it for about rm830. i tried to look for any fault may have on that particular set but couldn't find any (maybe overlooked) and did ask for another set but the guy said that was the only set they had. when i took it home i found that the shutter button for the camera (n73 with 3.2mp) is faulty and i took it back the next day and asked for 1 to 1 change but was refused by the salesperson. he said that it is under warranty and the shop will fix it. i asked for the warranty card but he said that as long as i have my receipt its ok. now its working fine so far.
i also found that the charger and the earphone that came with it is a local / cheap sets. no sticker on the charger. demm..
note : at the time i went to buy that hp i didn't know anything about this ap/ori set..yeaa my bad..anyway thanks to the thread owner.

i just being told something by a salesman.

he said, original set nowadays no need to have the distributor stickers (in this case, SE=midland) on each of their accessories, like hp, battery, charger, etc. and its unlike previously.

can anyone confirm about this?

Hey, may i know where can i check the IMEI number on the box of my N82??

I was told that original phone should have seals at the 4 corners of the phone. If the seal is broken, the warranty is consider void.

the problem is my newly bought original w705 doesnt have the seal at the 4 corners. should i suspect anything? please enlighten me.

I dun think it should have 4 seals on ALL corners of the phone. just on one corner is enuf...cos either way, if one really wants to open up the phone, you need all the screws to be out....so one corner for the seal is enuf...not sure about sony ericsson but for nokia, normally they put the seal at one side of the screw.

yea 1 corner its normal..btw check the sirim number n ur IMEI by typing *#06# n match it wif ur sticker

be it ori or ap set they will hav sirim number unless u direct import in ur phone. so wat if u hav a sirim number how u proof it is authentic ? sticker can be made and bought.. imei no. for ap set will normally match the 1 on the sticker on ur phone under ur battery but it wont necessary match the one on the box. y is it important to check imei no. and match them to the sticker behind? maybe becos to giv ur self a believe tat ur set is not a recondition set lor.. ori set will always hav the imei no. same as the sticker on the phone and the box. the sticker tat cover ur screws/nuts on ur phone is jus to prevent u to open it up .. the number of sticker to cover those nuts/screw depend on the company.. sometimes even ap company hav all those nut cover with sticker.. so not so good to judge it as ori or ap..
so the best bet is get from ori reseller (save u the hassle when u r claiming ur waranty and worry tat ur parts hav been change with grade aa or fake part on the ap set)

what! i just bought nokia 5320 yesterday. I think the seller cheat me .... I bought the nokia 5320 AP set for rm670...that is suppose to be price for Zitron. Price for nokia 5320 AP set is rm599 or below than rm600...arrhhhhh can i go to that shop and ask him to change from ap to zitron??? but what happen if he say cannot change?? arrgghhh help me!!
