I think RM380 for the HRAP3 is a reasonable deal, compared with what other major fighting game communities are paying for - and what they do to upgrade/mod them. It's really an outstanding stick though not the best, e.g. compared to fully modded/custom Sanwa and/or Seimitsu parts. Unless you replace the buttons with these, you are already getting a tournament-grade stick. You have to feel it in person to know how good it is.

I'm still on the borderline to go for a custom Seimitsu, or pre-order the official Madcatz SFIV Fight Stick Tournament Edition. Is costs US$150 - add another US$50-100 for courier shipping and you get the idea how much top tier gear is worth. The 2 HORI sticks I still own hasn't died on me (stick & buttons) even once. Previous 3rd-party clones all exhausted within days/weeks while playing Marvel vs Capcom 2

Yes it is true that others have gotten the HRAP3 for around the RM300-RM350 range. But to my own understanding this price was back in early 2008. The game shops are aware of the fighting games out now (and in future) for the PS3 - SFHD, Battle Fantasia, Tekken DR, SFIV, Blaz Blue, Tekken 6 to name a few, hence the price hike. It even went through a US$10 price hike recently due to demand.

Please correct me if I am inaccurate about the pricing now and do share more details to the benefit of all forumers e.g. which thread/post they reported their purchase and which shop they went to. I am very very tempted to get one for myself as SFIV draws near - and I think I've bought too many BDs/games for Christmas already

rm350 is really really a steal !!! considering the fact that its not easy to find stock locally and to buy online, u face all sort of risk and also have to pay expensive shipping fee ... summore, with the upcoming line up of fighting games, the prices of these sticks will definitely go up ... PA already naik USD10 for this baby haha

if i haven't got my HRAP3, i would straight buy from you without even thinking twice with this kinda price and immediate availability hehehe ... guarantee to immediately cure itchy hands hahaha

btw, how come the base keep moving ?? i thought there are 4 rubber studs at the bottom to keep the base from moving ???

anyway, whats you guys setup for the stick ??? for me, i play while sitting on the floor and put the hrap3 on top of its own box to make it at a comfortable height for me. Since the hrap3 is quite heavy, i'm not sure how long the paper box gonna last me hahaha

and also the buttons, how do you guys set it up or u guys just use the default first 6 buttons ?? i have to shift all the buttons 1 step to the right because it doesn't feel comfortable with the ori setup. I prefer no buttons after the FP and RH so that my palm can rest properly

maybe one day, i'm gonna buy those button fillers and remove the last 2 buttons so that i can make use of the first 6 buttons

actually im still very new..i think i just played less than 1 hour wit the stick..
oh..hehe..its becos i put it on a stool..but then the stool is smaller than the base..so when i move..the stick moves along..
oh use wit the box..hmm perhaps ill try later..but overall..ITS SO CUN! haha..
erm..i use the first 6 buttons on the left..yea ure rite..its kinda awkward//but im still a beginner after 10 years of the last sf2 arcade? hehe.. so no complains at the moment
but..how to make akuma ar?

1 player mode .. go above guile to select him ..
2 player mode .. go above honda to select him ..
