Anybody knows why MaMe games running in my psp must be below some 500kb? all ROMs above that size cannot run. I'm using PSPMAME4ALLv4.9r2Hires emulator. i can only play two games with sizes of 361kb & 151kb.

No idea lah. Never messed with that emulator.

i'm still kinda blurr after reading the guides. july last year (08), i bought a slim psp 2000 from japan. when i took it to a shop in seremban, the shopkeeper said that it cant be morphed yet, that the filmware is not out for my version of psp.

Currently i've been surviving on UMDs and the prices are kinda draining my wallet dry. I've two questions in mind.
How can i know what is motherboard version of the psp that i possess??
What is the latest filmware and the latest motherboard version it can mod?

Thanks in advance ^^

You can only check your motherboard version using a tool that Dax created, if you have access to a hacked unit (Which is capable of running homebrew).

i think i'll start another topic stating WHAT PSP TO BUY? 1000, 2000 or 3000? the direct side by side comparisons, pros & cons, etc... getting tired of that question... although i used to ask the same, but only once ><

Open the psp? Wha?

etiper, in order to run homebrew, you would need to switch kernels (If the homebrew requires a specific kernel). For example, if you have a brew' that requires 3.xx kernel, and your kernel is set to 1.50, it won't work of course.

hey guys, i am having some problem with my MMC reader, when i turn on with my MMC inside my PSP, my PSP wont start, and the LED on the MMC symbol is flashing orange. If i take out my MMC, the PSP works fine. Same thing i tried with my fren's MMC. But when i use my MMC on my fren's PSP, no prob at all. I think its not the MMC problem but the reader's prob, any ideas on this problem?

onash, sometimes, when you upgrade your firmware, certain game savedata files will get corrupted. Not only for you, but for everyone else so yea, you'll have to start over tongue.gif
