Hello everyone, is there any guides that I can read on regarding playing multiplayer games between 2 PSPs?
Both are custom firmware 5.0M33 (both are fat PSPs). One of the PSP (lets call it white PSP) can host games and join games. However, the other one (lets call it black PSP) cannot host games or join games. I have checked the side button for the network; both are in the right place. The problem just happened recently (a week ago); before this, we can play successful multiplayer games everytime. |

QUOTE(Jasmine Chew @ Jan 6 2009, 01:57 PM) hai...i just bought my psp version 2000. My currently firmware is 3.99 M33. Hey, your version is 3.90M33 i believe I tried to play some PSX games, however i need to download some software and change some setting in my psp in order to play those PSX games. Now here's my question, once i have changed the setting, will I be able to play back normal PSP games? Secondly, is it possible to upgrade my firmware from 3.99 straight to 5.00 M33-4? Do i need this Pandora Battery(actually i have no idea about what is this pandora battery) Thanks for the advise. There's no 'setting' needed for psx games. You just need popsloader and yes, you'll be able to perform all your psp features just fine. Yes, you can directly update from 3.90M33 --> 5.00m33 or any other higher firmware. No, a Pandora's Battery is not required. haha wetfusion @ your last post. You dedah my secret already !! Added on January 7, 2009, 6:38 am QUOTE(blackrosesuicide @ Jan 6 2009, 03:01 PM) Yes, as the replies above said, you HAVE to install the CXMB plugin before being able to use ctf themes on your unit. You'll need a cxmb which is made for 5.00M33-3. where the magic is similar to that. Just google bro This post has been edited by Playboy21: Jan 7 2009, 06:38 AM |

Guys just asking why we should upgrade or downgrade PSP firmware.....
Because I saw ad to upgrade and downgrade PSP 1)Firmware 3.71 M33-2 2)Firmware 3.90 M33-3 3)Firmware 4.01 M33-3 4)Firmware 5.00 M33-4 (latest) I understand if somebody want to upgrade their firmware because it latest ... but why to people downgrade their PSP firmware... I'm new ... so that's why I'm asking.. |

Well, some people who own fat units with firmwares 3.50 and below would want to downgrade their psp to 1.50 in order to get custom firmware (3.52m33-4) on it.
People who already are on custom firmware units may want to downgrade their units to a lower firmware in order to get certain plugins or homebrew to work. For example, there are plugins that require the magic of 3.71m33-4 that do not work in 4.01m33 etc. So the user may one to downgrade his/her unit to 3.71m33-4 back again upon knowing that the plugin cannot be used on his/her current firmware. It's just an examopke |

I'd say, anything above 3.71m33-4 would be perfect.
Firmwares below it like 3.52m33-4 and all are equally good, but they would not support many plugins out there. |

Guys.. Hope I'm asking on the correct place. Wandering are there any M33 CFW user that had recently updated their PSP FW to 5.00M33-4?
I had upgraded mine and I found there is a bug with the internet browser. Where in the internet browser mode, my mouse cursor (which its movement is controlled by the analog key) ainit working properly. It only can go left and right but can't be scroll down. Anyone has this problem? |
