i think you got the motherboard that cant be modded

hey i was wondering about "firmware", i checked my psp it says quote: "The systen software if your PSP™ system is version 3.95." i clicked the thing under the "play" symbol so does that mean my firmware is 3.95?

yep...thats yur firmware...if no M33-X behind i think it is OFW=Official FirmWare..instead of CFW=Custom FirmWare...

If I'm wrong better ask otai2 in here...me just noob like you but learn from them also..lol

grayfox5129, you are right. Firmwares without additional name extensions are usually official firmwares. I have not (yet) encountered a custom firmware which doesn't come with an extension behind it like M33, OE, HX, WC etc.

Thanx bro..btw i manage to convert my theme from ptf to ctf using ctf manager but when i apply the theme..my PSP brick...freezing @Sony Entertainment....then i shutdown it enter recovery disable xmb plugin then OK..is there any way to make it unbrick?? Do i need to off first before apply the theme?? Because i straightly convert the theme after i unplug from usb mode..

Or the programs just to convert PSX game into iso games that can be played in our PSP?? Because i read the tutorial @consolespot but only to convert PSX CD to iso game..what about if i dload some games @mininova that properly converted by seeders, then the game can play straight in PSP?? Because it said properly converted...Playboy21 need yur help..

I'm not too sure about the theme part. It most probably is because of a bad CTF file. You should just delete the CXMB plugin, and re-install it and everything should be fine.

As for PSX games, you need to use the popsloader plugin for your firmware. Also, no piracy chat here mate

hey guys, juz a question where some of the 2001 psp or 2006 psp cannot play free region movies either like region 1 movie 2 and 3 ..
and the psp is modifier adi wan wo... but still cannot play free movies ??
why is tis happen ??

You have to set your fake region according to your UMD region or just set it to disabled in order to get it to work. You can do so in recovery mode.

Recovery Mode = Hold the off switch for a few seconds, then hold the R trigger and boot your unit up.

hi playboy21, yes, i hv try it out go to the fake region and select the region accoding to the umd region but still cannot work out wo.. i try and try so many time change and change diff region and is still cant work and for region 1 movie can play coz the psp is region 1 so other then that cannot play... my friends psp the same model wan but can work on any umd movie is free region...

since my firmware is 3.95, how can i downgrade to get 3.9-m33 or whatever , whichever is best.

Qwedsa87, you can't "downgrade" it to a custom firmware of your choice. If your motherboard version is not a Pandora proof one, then you can use a Pandora's Battery to install custom firmware on your unit. Else, you're kinda doomed.

Besides, is there any dictionary like program for psp?

I'm not too sure if there's a dictionary application for the psp. What you can do is, just find a dictionary .pdf file, and use a pdf reader to read it. Unfortunately, that would make it REALLY hard for you to search for specific words.

3.71m33 is good. If you upgrade to 5.00M33, you'll get PSN, a new xmb wave (system bg), and some other small updates. If you ask me, i'd just remain on 3.71m33.
