You would have to upgrade to 3.52m33-4 first, then to 5.00m33. There is another method though, and it's much easier as you do not need to upgrade to 3.52m33-4 before running the 5.00m33 installer. Hellcat's Recovery Flasher. It allows users to upgrade directly from 3.40oe-a to 4.01m33-2.

Well, yea, i have the guide to Hellcat's reflasher which updates to 4.01m33-2, not 5.00m33. So, choose your options

1) 3.40oe-a --> 3.52m33-4 --> 5.00m33
2) 3.40oe-a --> 4.01m33-2

So Lakum, here you go.

If you wish to choose the first option, then follow these guides :

3.40oe-a --> 3.52m33-4 --> 5.00m33



Else if you wish to go with the second option, the follow this guide of mine :

3.40oe-a --> 4.01m33-2

hi, i got a psp 3000 and using official firmware v5.30..and i recently just made a conversion of movie file using the latest version of psp video 9..however, when i transfer the file to my psp, it is not shown up in my video file..may i know what is the possible error i made and any remedy which i can made up for it?

Some one please help me.. my psp1000 always indicate low batt and shutdown with the battery
percentage is only at 35% (1hr ++ left and 2 bar). Is it possible my battery almost KO? Or something wrong with the PSP itself?

how long is the battery's playtime??how long does it takes to full charge?

mine's show that it is 4hour sumthing..then it will increase to 6hours..a few minutes later it turned 5hours......keep increasing n decreasing..

ussually it will took like 2-3 hours to fully charged the battery and about the decreasing and increasing battery duration is something normal.mybe just a firmware glitch

if you wan the best pixel with playing *ahem* games capibilites,you should go for the psp-2k,it can also play classic ps1 games.surf via wifi is a YES.but when looking for the psp-2k make sure you get the old stock ones ( i mean the 2008 models ) bcos the 2009 models are equip with the same psp mother board as the psp-3k,so it can nvr mod to play *ahem* games

erm..my friend is interested to get a psp for himself..but i read some articles on internet which states that psp 2 is going to be announced soon..should i ask him to wait for psp 2 or just go and grab the current psp?
