I would like to know if i can get help as i am a new user on streamyx, and i know about all their problem ( but we dont have a choice do we ....? ), Been lurking here since last year and keep myself posted on the issue.
I have apply for their fixed line and streamyx as well. Yesterday this 2 of Tm Wiring contractor come to my house ( i live in a flat 2nd floor) to connect my fixed line. However it is so unsatisfactory, and i will provide u guys withs SS of my wiring conditions later today. Below is a complaint letter i intended to mail to TM regarding the matter, give your opinion on it.
I still havent receive the call to collect my streamyx modem (3 working days????) from TMPoint ( as i choose to do self installation)

Dear [whoever in charge],
I would like to complaint against your TM Wiring Contractor. Yesterday,3.50pm 2 of them come to my house ( a flat, 2nd floor) to install and connect the fixed line. ( the appointed time is between 10am-12pm which they cant deliver without contacting me first)
However, not only they ignored the existing internal wiring ( which have been readily made available from the building contractor, all they need to do is just connect and punch it), but they insist on doing "NEW" wiring, with the reason that they "DON'T KNOW WHICH OF THE EXISTING CABLE THERE IS MY HOUSE'S SET OF WIRING" which is totally unacceptable. As it is their job and responsibility, "DON'T KNOW" is simply not an excuse.They also added that the other contractor dont want to do this and dump the job on them.( they complaint about how tired they are etc etc)
Furthermore, as i live in a flat house, the new wiring that they made is just being slipped through the floor electrical housing ( which house and route all the electrical wires in it for all the rooms in the floor). Once again they ignore the telephone's wire housing which is there and securely protected inside aluminium housing, and now the wire is floating outside, ready to be cut at any time ( if accident arise).
Not only that, they charge me an excessive amount of RM120 + RM30 ( RM30 is the amount i have to pay to TM as they explain), total of RM 150 for existing wiring ( which they dont know how to connect and ignored it).
I could provide u with the receipt that i receive with them as well as the picture of the wiring condition to my house. I would like to know how i should pursue the case, as my neighbour next door is using the existing building wiring, and my cousin house is just being charge RM30 ONLY for wiring.
I would categorize this case as cheating your client and demand immediate action being taken on your contractor at Bandar Baru Bangi's TM Exchange Point ( which is around 600M from my house).

Btw, who should i mail it to? the TM website didnt do anything when i press the submit button.
Letter is good enough. Better if you can attach the receipt, picture, names or company of the contractors and send to Streamyx customer service. Wait for a 1-2 days to see if TM reply you. If no, forward the email you send to TM to MCMC and also a copy to the Consumer Affair.
