QUOTE(eltaria @ Dec 1 2008, 09:55 AM) like u play cards... half way shuffling suddenly got one joker in the card and someone get it ... re-shufflelor or if only one person kena than replace the card worse come to worse, "got restart buttonmah"... anyway on a more serious note... i think bursa have to honour whatever price that is quoted on the board if purchaed or sold by the respective trader. I just tried buying some shares on M2U and I have to say that the speed is amazing - the transactions are real-time now.

Except for the slow matching of buyin orders at 8.30am,the new BTS is smooth sailing now.But many online trading platforms are facing problems.

Online platforms would be the ones traders trade with low entry and exit costs. In a way, less speculations could mean better for Bursa to perfect its new system. Sime its *edited* (slashed) forecast heavily (about 50%), so research houses might downgrade it, which prompt fund managers especially foreign one are at the sell side.

Yup, last time round, when they proposed the mega merger time, it was a good plan. Under the old plan, Synergy Drive took up all the plantation side, while divest those existing non-core businesses which eventually Synergy Drive become a pure plantation activities company. But in the middle of the road, they changed plan, all are grouped into one. So now Sime operates from plantation, vehicle, to engineering businesses etc. This post has been edited by cherroy: Dec 1 2008, 10:37 AM |
