QUOTE(jys @ May 5 2009, 11:13 PM) I received an email saying that my brokerage fees was reduced to RM 12 but when I checked at the "buy" screen, the transaction fees still RM 28. Anybody having this problem? As I said earlier, the lower brokerage fee will only appear in the contract note. The system is set for a default value of RM 28.

Hi guys,
I'm currently looking into opening an online trading account (mainly for NYSE). Currently in my mind is HongLeong and CIMB.
i can't find the trading fees for CIMB. Anyone knows where I can find them?
The RM8.88 is only valid if there's RM10k in your account right? Is it really worth it compared to other e-brokers?
Thx!

I called CS to change my limit to RM 10k. They said can have a limit up to RM 100k provide that I pledged the necessary cash into my trust (RM 100k/3). I asked if the 3x thing can be disabled. They said no.

Greetings to all the pro out there... I just open my itrade account with CIMB... and deposited 1k to initiate it (into my current account) and was told need to wait about 5 working days in order for them to sent me an email with all my online account details.... ok... no problem so far...
Question: Do I need to maintain RM 10, 000 at all time in order to allow me to trade? For example, if I would like to buy 1 lot of IOI at RM 4.00 then I will need to have RM14, 000 ++ in my account to trade?
koko jeje... enlighten me plz...

QUOTE(lms2005 @ Jun 4 2009, 12:25 PM) sent email yesterday regard rate, they call me back . sent another email regard change ratio, no reply till now. I emailed them regarding the cross border account last week but no reply at all. Then I emailed them again early this week regarding the e-deposit, they called me yesterday on the edeposit. When I asked them about the cross border email, they said they thought someone already replied me. Anyway, they lost my application form on cross border account which I sent together with my itrade application. So now I need to resend the application form to them.
