I purchased three lot of share for 1.60 for example, It went on queue. I read through the previous threads, the trading amount is three times of my deposit amount. Does it means that my purchase cannot go through even though it is on the queue and I have to top up credit for a purchase?

no.

if u hv the credit limit, it will be done if the price comes.

then, u get the statement... need to top up to pcik up, or sell before contra days, or they will force sell for you.

such questions about basic procedures, the remisier/broker should have told u.

if not, u should call and ask - that's part of the brokerage u pay!

there are diff types of accounts, diff rules.

It shows the trading limit (normally x3) but not the cash you deposited. So, you can't actually tell how much actual cash available.

u can estimate la...

the 3x is not straight forward - paid stocks have lower trading credit value than cash.

it will be bad if u don't even know how much u deposited, bought and paid, hence the balance!

What kind of cash account that offered by CIMB will not required large deposit to enjoy low commission?

What kind of commission do they offer?

Does CIMB itrade mobile offer technical charting?

Since CIMB is using N2N, is the web trading platform accessible via Chrome? (ExcelForce can't at the moment sad.gif)

You mean mobile app can see chart but cant do technical indicator whereas mobile browser can?

I have saw the 0.0388% min RM 8.88 cash upfront account and the 0.1% min RM8 cash upfront account, whats the difference?

App only see simple intraday chart.. Unless u login via mobile browsers to use techical browsers

Tht 0.0388% min RM 8.88 this won't no one will layan u..
Reason u need go to bank instead Ib to open this acc and current account.. Ur current account must have money and some TnC apply else will revert to 0.42%. And normally is nominee instead direct cds

0.1% tht wan is direct cds acc.. So can apply ipo directly.

the new itrade app can view other timeframes too, just have to rotate the screen and you will have the other options.

Q1: normal cash account with margin (some calculations involved). mine I fund with only rm5k.

Q2:if you trade often enough, you could negotiate your brokerage rate with your remisiers. I did mine.

Q3: not at the moment

Q4: have to install chrome extension called "IE tab" but then still need to install the cab file for it to run properly.

i hope my answer helped.
