Ya ya .. E-Settlement .. how you can use it? Is there any way to apply it?
*
Apply? No need to apply. It's already there. You can clear your outstanding and ensure that your trust money has enough money. Otherwise, you need to settle using the method similar to e-Deposit.

What I don't like about e-Deposit is that the lead time is not fast (short) enough.

Nope. You just not able to trade.

For first time trading, you need to have RM 1000 in your trust account will be converted to "credit".

Maybe I'm a little confuse here, my money is to put into the trust account, so the dealer said they will settle all the payment as long my balance is enough. I call them and they said no need to do anything. But, since it always make me make feel uncomfortable due to their late payment that always in the last day, I wish that I could use the E-Settlement button. So, did you put your money into the trust account too or there's some option that I miss while registering before? hmm.gif

First, I load money to my trust account using e-Deposit.

Then, after T+3 if I bought any share, I'll settle it using e-Settlement.

I didn't wait for dealer to do that for me. Maybe I'm not aware of this since I'm still newbie with the system.

What is the role of the dealer? Are they the same as remiser?

why is it that after i buy any share, the cimb only send me an email to inform me to pay all the money. I thought it is directly deducted from the trade account? I still have to pay it manually?

This is somekind of borrowing, right? I thought this only apply to those who buy 3X their total amount they have in trade account.

It's just a notification - buy, sell , T+3 oustanding. I believe these are the 3 system generated emails.

Perhaps, I choose another option when ticking in the form. I only have an option to deposit money to their account (CIMB), call them and state the amount I put. After that, login, select stocks, buy or sell, logout. After 3 days, they will automatically deduct it. rclxub.gif . Or every ITrade is same, I can use the system like you mention? rclxub.gif

What is happening to CIMB ITrade today? There's no stock name, price, and other thing? There's no more pre-booking at night? Have to input it by 8.30 a.m? icon_question.gif

By right it should be updated in Tuesday morning (T+4).

T+1 == Thursday
T+2 == Friday
T+3 == next Monday

So, does it mean from Thursday until Tuesday, those ITrade user couldn't do anything if they want to buy stocks? Let's assume all the money already spent in the last stock and they are waiting for the latest payment .. isn't there anyway to buy using ITrade rather than calling the dealer to buy it? As you know, the rate is little higher ..

I'm not sure about calling the dealer portion. What I know if there's no credit showed in the BUY form, then you cannot buy it till you deposit money to your trust account.

So, cons in ITrade is we cannot "loan" before they deposit the money, unlike using dealer/remisier... doh.gif .

P/s: Since you are the only active person reply here, did you wait for the deposit everytime or you already save some in the account just in case to average it? Just asking .. perhaps I should use another method and avoid to use all of the bullet everytime ..

I believe somebody did mention about the account type earlier.

Perhaps you could only "loan" if you have applied for margin account or facility.
