Hi people, it seems no one started thread regarding i*Trade@CIMB. So, I create a thread for this!

My account was just activated 10 minutes ago and i have so many questions to ask regarding the interface. icon_question.gif icon_question.gif
But i shall summarize all my questions after work.

Come and discuss this good online trading system which is stable in my opinion.

I was told the person in charge that it is rm12? What are the differences between odd and normal lot?

I am going to transfer bank into my investment account. But when i use my atm machine, i input the given account number, the name show up as "CIMB INVESTMENT". Is it safe for me to transfer the money into the account? Is it my account or a general account? And in case i wish to take out my money from the investment account? how to do it? go to cimb?

thank you and dont worry of having to answer again and again. I will summarize and put all the things at the first post.

what are the differences between all these 3?
from what i can understand

Session-most standard one. Just buy and hold?

Day-must buy&sell the same day??

Good to date-Set a deadline where ur trading will take place if the price you set is offered.

And for odd trade, it is only Day trade. Then only it'd brokerage rate is rm12.
Still learning.. lots of things to learn.

why is it that after i buy any share, the cimb only send me an email to inform me to pay all the money. I thought it is directly deducted from the trade account? I still have to pay it manually?

This is somekind of borrowing, right? I thought this only apply to those who buy 3X their total amount they have in trade account.

it is best for you to update your java because sometimes older version of java will cause some problem with i*trade.
