anyone ordered from hmv uk before? how's their service?

normally got one back section..

..sometimes they even translate the titles to different meanings in english..
normally titles with grammar e.g "of", "in" etc. in the titles, will surely be translated into deutsch. the same goes to titles with subtitles e.g indiana jones.. it's fun to see such titles..lol

not only the meaning of the title, but the cover is also different

Only managed to locate at hmv.co.hk but kinda expensive.

Some titles' prices were raised, due to price-matching with other merchants. But still attractive nevertheless. Damn you Amazon, I am still recovering from my yuletide splurging

hi, i would like to buy The Shawshank Redemption (Blu-ray Book) [Blu-ray] and The Dark Knight (+ Digital Copy and BD Live) [Blu-ray], but Amazon says its Region 1. While my PS3 is SG set, can I play Region 1 Blu-Ray? if not which Region should i buy? Thanks.

AFAIK,
SG,HK,US,MY PS3s all play region A.
europe/Japan play region B

games no problem,though..region free

Basically with your SG PS3, you can play all Region A and Non Regino A but Region-Free movies. You can refer to 1st page for links to check out which titles which are region free.
