there's where i did my rebonding too. smile.gif costs me only 270 for my long hair length about 4(?) inches below my shoulder. i think thats pretty reasonable considering my hair's dry and damaged. it turned very satisfying of course. went back a few days ago to re-rebond my hair but now they're charging 360 omfg. cos my hair's at elbow length now.

first did rebonding at wings in uptown damansara. i was quite naive la i should say. i agreed to rebonding for 200 only. it was only during the rebonding process he told me i have to use a before and after treatment product which i thought was included in the 200. which will cost me 80 bucks extra. at the end of the day i wasnt too happy with the service that he didnt inform me earlier there's an extra charge for treatment but i must say the result wasnt bad.

i just wouldnt go for 400+ rebonding ever. the result is gonna be just as good as a 300 one.

I called Top Passion to enquire about their rebonding, and was quoted the promo price of RM280-300 for my long hair (bra-length). Thought it was quite cheap until I asked them what brand will they be using and the lady told me its some china brand. If good brands like shiseido/l'oreal then it will be RM400 and above. It's a good thing I asked because I only believe in using well established brands because the last thing i need is my hair falling in patches (which has happened to some girls on some forums i've read). I'm not sure if you girls check what brands they use but it's really important.

Anyhos, I will be going back to La Mode in MV, was quoted RM350 for rebonding and cut. They use shieseido or l'oreal. I did my hair with them previously early this year and was happy with the outcome. Can't wait for my hair to look pretty again, lol

erm, i do my hair at my hair stylist house , she is the professional hair stylist and 1 of the boss of salon b4, experience more than 10yrs lo.. tongue.gif
But now she only do the hair at her house, 1 man show la laugh.gif  from wash till end all done by her , and her skill is good, this is wat i prefer, bcos normally u go to salon, wash & blow should be another person, and the hair stylist only will come when everythings is ready.. i met this problem at snips b4, i mentioned i wan the hair stylist do rebonding for me, but at the end was the senior done and the stylist only came and told them how to do.. mad.gif
btw ,the most important thing is my hair stylist will using the shishedo product in front of u, definately no cheated..  rclxms.gif i oledi do my hair at her place 3-4yrs lo biggrin.gif

I like this type coz the hairstylist do everything from the begining until the end of session...for other salon most likely hair stylist wont do rebond for you, only cut ur hair and give advise..n then student may not as good as their sifu on doin this.. laugh.gif

I do mine once or twice a year, depending on how unruly my hair gets. I have a hair iron as well which helps but sometimes I choose to rebond so I dont have to spend extra time doing my hair.

Just to update, got my hair done over the weekend at La Mode, MV. Rebonding was RM350 using shiseido products. I opted for a cut which was RM88 for the senior stylist, although I did splurge a bit, no regrets because I love the hair cut and the outcome - told him I didn't want it too flat and wanted volume and that's what I got. Bill Tay is his name, incase anyone is keen smile.gif

I think they used the black and white pack for me too coz I saw her pouring it in front of me smile.gif

RM200 is way too cheap for shisedo. I noticed that when some saloons have promotion for rebonding they dont usually use the good brands. Mostly non-branded China brand so just to be sure always ask what brands they're using.

Where did you perm your hair?

I called them up last week, the tropicana and damansara outlet. They're currently having a promo, about RM300 for long hair - cut, rebonding and treatment. But when I asked if they were using loreal/shisedo, the lady said some china brand. If I want those brands it will cost me RM400++. Maybe you can check with them what brand they're using first before deciding.

thanks for your feedback. Yea I checked with them. they're using Ka'Fen for rebonding and digital perm - the promo you were talking about and apparently the lady told me it is a japanese brand product. I am not too sure though.

Anyhow, I will be going over to the tropicana outlet tomorrow and see what I will do with my hair. Need a hairstyle change..haha
anyone needs feedback for this salon? i will keep you updated once i get back tmr night. let me know. thanks wink.gif

I did my rebonding in a saloon called Hairazone in Kajang for RM180 on my shoulder length hair and it is done by a professional hairstylist.

It's already been months and my hair is still in great shape!

The ppl at the salon there will be recommend u to do hair mask once every 2 weeks.
Then need to apply conditioner too!

i bought the hair instant conditioner spray after recommended by the salon gal
But after using it few times, really dun like it because of the strong fragrance sad.gif

If u want to save cost, Can DIY hair mask yourself at home smile.gif
