Err..mine is Queen size where can get around RM4K outside.
But it still worth it... smile.gif

Bad news when buying warehouse sales
1) No warranty
2) Need to carefully check for any defects on site.
3) No way to really test the mattress firmness. You need to know about the mattress first then only buy there.
4) Delivery need queue first come first serve. Mine is after Chinese New Year..sighh cry.gif

When you check the mattress did you find any defect ?

it is dirt cheap because :-

1) some are defect units

2) some are roadshow display units

3) some are customer complain returned units

4) some are dirty units

5) no warranty

Aren't it illegal to sell a defects or returned units.? hmm.gif

Not that i see any so far. But bear in mind that all the mattress encased by plastic cover. And some of the plastic cover seem quite dirty with dust. But the sales assistant did claimed that all the mattress are brand new.!

Only when the mattress actually arrive then i'll know whether i actually got a good deal...or bad deal in buying a warehouse mattress sale.

it is at clearance price, why would it be illegal / not allowed to sell defect unit?

It's hard to believe a reputable mattress manufacturer/company are doing that. I tend to believe they can give such a low dirt price because they produce and sell their own mattresses themselves.

Bypassing the retailers and sellers where mostly taking a profit margin by 30 - 60% can give such a huge discount to consumers when they sell the mattress themselves during warehouse sales. hmm.gif

Yes of course. They are not selling it as new. They are selling it as clearance and they declare that (returned goods) it to the potential buyers. Willing buyer willing seller.

Not really a defect, but perhaps some of the mattress' cover may be torn/dirty becoz of being used as sample at the shops. But most of the mattresses are still as good as new.

I believe it is actually a good deal if you dont mind the fact that it may have been used as a sample previously. Bear in your mind that no manufacture will sell at such a low price for new model without any defect/dirt to the consumers. I myself dont have a problem with that.

But of course if I am wealthy, I will pay more than Rm10,000 and buy a new and good quality mattress. This warehouse clearance is for people (perhaps not that rich or stingy rich people ha ha) who want good quality mattress at cheap price.

They wont bypass retailers and sellers in such way or they will be losing their business.

I avoid retailers that give clearance sales on monthly basis like MFO. The one that on sale now is run by Dunloppilo itself and not by any retailers.

The sales assistant claimed all mattress are brand new. Don't know whether it's true or not. But all the staff that handle the sales that day are from Dunlopillo HQ.

With their receipt clearly stated Dunlopillo HQ address..i believe the sale was handle by themselves and not by retailers.
Most probably to clear old stocks hence got dusty plastic cover.
