Well, i feel a review after using the mattress over a 1.5 year period is due.  In one word, superb.  I am still above 100kg, and the bed is still holding up like day 1.  My best investment in 2014 no doubt.  Should've bought 2 back then and have the other in my guest room which my parents occasionally drop by to use.

I won't jump directly into serta is the price difference is that huge.  My mattress range most likely is replaced by the presidential range.  The difference i think is presidential range using pillow top, mine was using natural latex top.  And if presidential range is going for 8k, vs alternative dunlopillo 4k, that is big difference.  I grabbed my mattress at the sleep shop at Jln. Maarof at bangsar for only RM5k after massive discount.  My only other reference for price was an earlier link from harvey norman store which happen to has the same range at that time for RM15k.  So yeah, grab Serta especially when you spot super massive sale, else at 8k, which is only 50% off listed price to me is still too pricy.

I am looking for a couple of mattresses... apparently Sealy (Sheraton uses this brand) seems to be the most comfy but also most expensive!!!

Can the gurus recommend me a good memory foam mattress? I am currently using Mr America from King Koil (with Memory Foam), already more than 8 years I think.

BTW today I went to a shop that sells a new series of Dunloppilo called Europa 3D something that's basically all memory foam and a thin layer of latex at the bottom. Costs 1990 ringgit. Is this mattress good?

Hello everybody..greetings.

I'm on a lookout for a KING sized Mattress (without Divan, since I already have a box frame built into the room).

Budget ~RM2K

So far (after going through the bulk of the thread postings by fellow LYN forumers here), it appears that I should,

1) avoid any Malaysian made mattresses (anyone able to elaborate on this point?)
2) avoid OEM brands (i.e. Eclipse, Hilker, Dorma, etc.)
3) avoid Coir (fibre) mattresses as they are not durable/long-lasting

Does anyone else have any other DOs and DON'Ts or any recommendations (within budget) for me?

My current wants in a Mattresses:

1) Budget ~RM2K (mattress + topper).
2) Medium-Hard feel (pocket spring+latex topper?) <-- I'm sure of the feel that I want, but unsure of the composition range hence the question mark.

It's hard to believe a reputable mattress manufacturer/company are doing that. I tend to believe they can give such a low dirt price because they produce and sell their own mattresses themselves.

Bypassing the retailers and sellers where mostly taking a profit margin by 30 - 60% can give such a huge discount to consumers when they sell the mattress themselves during warehouse sales.

so the royal exec luxe one is display brand new or dirty unit ?

Wait till the next warehouse clearance sales. Then come real early on the first day. Shouldn"t be any problem to get Nottingham Luxe. 

When I'm there..i saw 2 units of Nottingham available but both King size and I"m looking for Queen one.
