I transferred bluetooth from my Omnia to my Windows XP. Mp3 file, no problem. Later will try to beam it to friend's phone.

25 hours since I last changed my battery. And still 50% battery life left. I must say that DXHK3 sucks battery wwaaaayyyyy too much (oh and bluetooth too). DXIA2 is the way to go for the time being. For me at least tongue.gif

about the battery life, I think u all maybe need to so some reaserch about the activesync, that set to running every few minute(depend on country setting). means that auto sync.

this function will easily use up your battery, so need to reset it to no auto sync. and it does not interefere any sync function afterward.

U can simple turn this etting off by some small setting edit.
just gogle it. i found on some forum.

googled it but cant seem to find the forum you were saying. Mind posting the link?

besides mine only sync when i connect the usb cable. and i have not changed any of the settings since i updated my firmware.

just a question, did any of you guys do a hard reset after updating? I did. And i think for one of the earlier firmwares it did a wonder on improving batt life. After hard reset, everything was good.

p.s. backup data before hard reset. It will erase all data on the main memory.

Dunno bout you guys but for me, normally (everyday) I'm using the phone for...

1. 3G and HSDPA connection which has 3 email accounts (the main reason why I bought a WM phone; if not I've already bought a Sony Ericsson tongue.gif)

- Outlook Exchange - checking interval of 15 mins (8.45am to 6.15pm) and 30 mins for the rest of the day
- Gmail - checking interval of 30 mins
- Yahoo - checking interval of 30 mins

* data connection will disconnect if idle for 45 seconds

2. SMS (regular SMSing, not too much and not too low)
3. Calls (maybe accumulated average of 30 mins per day)

So, having only 24 hours of battery life seems kinda sucky (when I was on DXHK3). But now on DXIA2, I think can reach 2 days (we'll see tomorrow rolleyes.gif ). So, the improvement is almost +100% thumbup.gif

Yeah. I updated twice. First I was on DXHK1 (I think) and then upgraded to DXHK3 (not sure about this one if I did a hard reset because the memory was empty). And now on DXIA2 (I did a hard reset on this one... twice sweat.gif).

*edited*
Could it be that I didn't do a hard reset after updating to DXHK3 (the battery life sucked?) hmm.gif

It could be, because i remember when we were discussing a batt life for a particular firmware version back in V1, the solution that was posted by someone was to do a hard reset after updating even though your memory is empty. And surprisingly, even though i still cant explain it. It worked.

But your low batt life could be due to your net usage. But i cant be sure. I talk on the phone longer than you, probably about 1 hr a day. SMS about 10-15/day and thats it. Lasts me on HK3.

But bear in mind s2u and mobile shell would reduce batt life by about 25% based on my previous experience. So thus, i stopped using them.
