i have a hard time pvp with my rogue in battleground...its hard to cheap shot or kidney shot a ppl...coz the enemy is like skating..even after i stun him..he only get stun after skating forward in 1-2 sec...so zzz with msian line..my ping is around 300

For me, players start to "skate" around only when my ping is more than 800ish. They occasionally jerk around when I have +-500ms. But when I actually have the magical 300ms that you speak of, which is VERY rare at around 4-5am on a night with a blue moon. Everything is considered F**KING smooth for me to PvP properly. So if you're getting 300ms, and you're complaining. Move to California so you can get <30ms, no one here can help you man. Or maybe you can subscribe to fibre optics broadband. =/

FYI, I play a rogue too, and I never get less than 500ms. NEVER.

why hide when you can just run around with a killin spree? people dying in 2-3 shots anyways nowdays

Try out Gamepath. It will help your PVP a lot especially Melee. PM me I can give you free code to trial.

virtual linux box, 200-300 ms ping, free. lulz

But Virtual Linux Box doesn't solve your routing issues. e.g when your ISP lag, you still lag and the ping doesn't go quite as low compared to a proper dedicated server tweaked just specially for WOW.

Quazacolt, free is always good. I'm just saying if you want to pay, you can obtain better ping and routing.

But if you feel that it's not justifiable and your pocket want to be happy we're totally happy and glad for you!

Not everyone is so blessed with good connection / routing from their ISP.

Hmm...., u know, I haven't managed to connect onto Gamepath since patch 3.0 was released. Even with cycling through the various IPs.

300 ms omfg thats like msian ping heaven. normally i get 500 to 600. On a standard tmnut snail day its 800. Try pvping as a war, much harder. I charge and i keep mashing that hamstring button...but how come no hamstring? lol rogues have it easier.

heh i play at 400ms and 600ms while in raid but i still on Top dmg..but yes even im not lagg i got prob with pvp/arena since i was huntard..lol..wonder how much dmg i can put if i play less 200ms:D /flex

niway, yea I'm a rogue too, who usually having 300~500 ping , 600~700 during raid,
didnt check during arena, but I do know I'm delaying kao kao,
always shadowstep and wanna hit tat time ppl sure 2~3 step away adi...
i guess thats our fate...lol..

(as my friend has check using a program, our main problem is too many lost packet from router to router, so maybe sometimes u hit that button but lost package, so ur toon dont react....which sux..)

pvp as a healer or a range dps... much easier.. 300++ is consider the best for msian.. i only play my rogue whenever i hit 280ms once a while..

arena servers are lagging and bugged, dont bother. divine shield having cast times are not fun at all.

and no, router to router (or more precisely, node to node) doesnt have "lost packets"
tmnut blocked pings on tracert for certain/most people. if you do a direct ping you'll get it

you can experiment urself, go cmd, type tracert www.google.com you get nothing after the first few nodes. if ur lucky maybe you'll get a hit or 2. then, try ping www.google.com.

Actually Gamepath has been problematic for me since October. Random lag spikes, 700+ms on all my favorite gates, and the only decent gate to Rampage (101) has a crapload of downtime. It doesn't help that Rampage is the crappiest realm group in terms of performance.

Connection to Bloodlust is a lot better though, to be fair. So far the Thaurissan dudes have no issues.
