what bout the dell 24 inch ultra sharp version cost rm few k..?

It is a little weird comparing a TN panel and VA panel isn't it? Kancil versus Ferrari?

Price gap is too huge as well lol.

Ya, sub RM1000 are all TN panels. Haven't seen any of those VA around that price range yet.

1680x1050? The usual 16:10 resolution for 22". 1920x1080 is more to a 24" resolution instead but available at smaller screens as well nowadays.

compare Samsung 2233SW with BenQ T2200HD,which 1 is better?

Both are equivalent, both doesn't have HDMI. No speakers as well. I prefer the 2233SW though, nicer design!

Waiting for the next PC Fair in my area to grab one hehe.

Wow, Thundermatch selling it so cheap? There's a branch in Melaka though, might be able to get the same deal perhaps if they join the PCFair next week!

2233SW will work perfectly on PS3 running at 1080p. No stretching or whatsoever.

Err, can 2233SW be used with PS3? It doesn't have HDMI right? HDMI-DVI works for it?

Wah, pretty worried about the dead pixel. Guess I'll have to ask see which shop can let me return it if I see a dead pixel for the upcoming pcfair at my place.

I don't quite get what is serious computing lol.

If you are talking about work space, the 21.5 16:9 usually has 1920x1080 which is more work space compared to the usual 16:9 22" which has only 1680x1050.

This was my main worry before actually buying the 2233SW. I was using a 17" 1280x1024 and a 15.4" 1280x800 (laptop) before this. Moving on to a 21.5" 1920x1080 is perfectly fine for me.

I didn't had to strain my eyes to read words, nor need to increase the word size at all smile.gif.

Each manufacturer uses different way to measure dynamic contrast, so there's probably no way to compare the dynamic contrast of different makes of LCD. Best is to use the static contrast instead smile.gif or use your own eyes.

PS. I don't quite like the dynamic contrast feature of my 2233SW anyways ._. Kinda irritating at times.

Well I got mine for RM599 during PCFair Melaka. If that time SeaMonster already selling at RM799 I confirm buying the S2409W instead actually. I mean.. it is a 24" with HDMI afterall! Mine's just a 21.5" =/

Agreed, this is definitely the best price/performance LCD right now. RM799 with 3 years warranty. Nothing else comes close to it for now.

1680x1050 probably, the media player doesn't need to compensate for so much pixels compared to 1920x1080.
