4850 is going to run like snail at 1920x1080 for some games. Stick to the 1680x1050 if you game a lot.

2233SW does not come with HDMI, so it is an equivalent of T2200HD only. T2200HD going for as low as RM560 anyways.
Oh by the way 4850GS 1GB comes with lower stock mem clock. 2000MHz compared to 2200MHz of the 512. This post has been edited by celciuz: Nov 27 2008, 11:25 AM |

Do me another favour, set your PS3 to run at 720p and report if the scaling is right or not. I read a review stating that both the E2400HD and E2200HD has problem scaling with the 720p resolution =/.

This one is reported to scale to 16:10 instead of the usual 16:9.

ashburn98, yes. I was referring to that one. Didn't quite understand what their scaling thingy was about though.

Hmm Samsung 2433SW at RM850 according to Navotech's latest pricelist dated 28/11. But as usual, sure no stock
Bigger brother of the 2233SW I suppose, no HDMI only with HDMI. RM850 is a tempting price! especially for a 24". This post has been edited by celciuz: Nov 29 2008, 07:49 AM |

2433SW is 1920x1080 like the 2233SW. Anybody has review on this? RM850 price tag looks like it is a reasonable deal. But no HDMI input though.

Different native resolution. 1920x1080 versus 1920x1200.But this RM850 is from Navotech... confirm no stock as usual ._. |

If not mistaken all those monitors on top doesn't have HDMI input. Not sure about the BW, but the SW don't have HDMI input. Only DVI.

24" price seems to be dropping fast though. Wonder if there will be a T2400HD from BenQ to compete against 2433LW or not.

QUOTE(wschan @ Nov 29 2008, 04:50 PM) Err, you'll have to ask Navotech? QUOTE(pikacu @ Nov 29 2008, 07:20 PM) guys, let say i want o use 22" lcd with hdmi input for ps3/x360/wii, Get E2200HD if you're gonna use it for your console. Especially PS3 since it has 1080p support will the console follow the native resolution of lcd? or the console use their own..? |

There's a Samsung 2433SW at RM850 @@. 24" with 1080p at that price seems very attractive to me. Downside, no HDMI.

QUOTE(rd33 @ Dec 3 2008, 02:09 PM) Since u have 1k budget y dun u go for 24" instead? Here's 24" LCD Dell S2409W Full HD Monitor with HDMI for only RM 999 Either this or Samsung 2433SW is also a good choice, but it doesn't come with HDMI. If you're planning to use with consoles, go for the Dell S2409W. |
