Dont bother buying the Full HD if you dont have any Video to play with it.

I'm more interested in the 16:9 ratio instead for videos smile.gif. Don't quite like the black lines I experience when watching my 16:9 series on a 16:10 without cutting the edges off.

4850 is going to run like snail at 1920x1080 for some games. Stick to the 1680x1050 if you game a lot.

2233SW does not come with HDMI, so it is an equivalent of T2200HD only. T2200HD going for as low as RM560 anyways.

Oh by the way 4850GS 1GB comes with lower stock mem clock. 2000MHz compared to 2200MHz of the 512.

Do me another favour, set your PS3 to run at 720p and report if the scaling is right or not. I read a review stating that both the E2400HD and E2200HD has problem scaling with the 720p resolution =/.

This one is reported to scale to 16:10 instead of the usual 16:9. smile.gif. I'm not taking about the blurrr due to non native reso.

ashburn98, yes. I was referring to that one. Didn't quite understand what their scaling thingy was about though.

Hmm Samsung 2433SW at RM850 according to Navotech's latest pricelist dated 28/11. But as usual, sure no stock dry.gif.

Bigger brother of the 2233SW I suppose, no HDMI only with HDMI. RM850 is a tempting price! especially for a 24".

2433SW is 1920x1080 like the 2233SW. Anybody has review on this? RM850 price tag looks like it is a reasonable deal. But no HDMI input though.

*
No HDMI though, BenQ one has HDMI and a set of "speakers" lol.

QUOTE(amenlo9 @ Nov 29 2008, 11:07 AM)
can't find the spec for 2433SW on google.is it 16:10 or 16:9?i prefer 24 LCD with 1920x1200 resolution
*
2433SW = 1920x1080 = 16:9. 2433BW is 16:10 though.

QUOTE(edragon84 @ Nov 29 2008, 11:10 AM)
rm850 is a nice price, pc fair is few weeks later, maybe price will be drop some more. 2433sw and 2433bw got different?screen smaller?
*
Different native resolution. 1920x1080 versus 1920x1200.

But this RM850 is from Navotech... confirm no stock as usual ._.

If not mistaken all those monitors on top doesn't have HDMI input. Not sure about the BW, but the SW don't have HDMI input. Only DVI.

24" price seems to be dropping fast though. Wonder if there will be a T2400HD from BenQ to compete against 2433LW or not.

Err, you'll have to ask Navotech? biggrin.gif. I would like to know as well smile.gif.

QUOTE(pikacu @ Nov 29 2008, 07:20 PM)
guys, let say i want o use 22" lcd with hdmi input for ps3/x360/wii,

will the console follow the native resolution of lcd? or the console use their own..?
*
Get E2200HD if you're gonna use it for your console. Especially PS3 since it has 1080p support smile.gif. If your console is outputting 1080p, then it will run at native reso for best picture quality.

*
3870 playing games at 1920x1080... Things are gonna be in "matrix" mode tongue.gif unless you tone down graphics settings for some games.

There's a Samsung 2433SW at RM850 @@. 24" with 1080p at that price seems very attractive to me. Downside, no HDMI.

Since u have 1k budget y dun u go for 24" instead? Here's 24" LCD Dell S2409W Full HD Monitor with HDMI for only RM 999
*
Either this or Samsung 2433SW is also a good choice, but it doesn't come with HDMI. If you're planning to use with consoles, go for the Dell S2409W.
