@narutokuibi,

add abit more, you could get the dell 2409....there're afew forumers here using this model...check their feedbacks...all quoted as good, or at least acceptable...

if i'm not mistaken, dell's selling ard rm10xx....so it's not so far compared to ur budget....

since u could get 4870... biggrin.gif ....not to "cha" u la...but with the 4870, might as well go for 24" straight away...as now the norm is 22"....24" would be a sweet spot...for alot of work functions, such as spreadsheets, gaming, etc...

my 22" can "almost" open 2 spreadsheets side by side...but still not really displaying the "full" view....not cukup "ooommppphhh".... tongue.gif

for 24", i believe one can view 2 simultaneously...and nicely....

check out dell la...

or other models for that matter...i'm sure u wouldn't regret it....don't believe...ask the otais here who's using 24"....hehe

NarutoKiubi, 10000:1 dynamic contrast and less than RM720 according to forumers. I have not found any in my area yet though.

^ that E2200HD has 1920x1080 resolution as well, so there's a lot of working space there too.

grey to grey... grey pixel to (white/black) and back to grey.

Response time.. I would say refer to a full pixel cycle(full pixel twist 0 to 90 and back to 0 degrees).... Black to Full White and back to Black (or W to B to W).

Any recommendations of 22" LCD?

DVI port is definitely needed. Will be used mainly for internet usage and occasional gaming and movies.

Budget of around RM600-700. Noticed that Samsung 2253LW fits within my budget but not sure how is the performance of the unit and also would be open to more suggestions of other models. smile.gif

LCD TV or LCD monitor price will be dropping a lot.If you all can wait till next year.

QUOTE
WASHINGTON (CNN) -- Three major electronics manufacturers have agreed to plead guilty to a price-fixing conspiracy and pay $585 million in criminal fines for their roles in the pricing of LCD display panels, the Justice Department said Wednesday.

The department announced the plea agreement following a settlement with Sharp Corp. of Japan; LG Display Co. (LPL) of South Korea and Chunghwa Picture Tubes of Taiwan.

The plea deals were filed in U.S. District Court in San Francisco, California, and announced by Thomas Barnett, Assistant Attorney General for Antitrust at the Justice Department in Washington.

"These price-fixing conspiracies affected millions of American consumers who use computers, cell phones and numerous other household electronics every day," said Barnett. He declined to estimate losses stemming from the price fixing, but said he expected to provide some measure of the damages when the corporations are sentenced.
