What do you mean by gb? Graphic board?

I've seen issues on people not being able to set the resolution any higher than the native resolution of the laptop's LCD. So before you try 24", you might want to google it up first. I think Intel is most likely to face this problem.

agrhhh, typo. i meant gc for graphic card.

will do some research right after my spm. tongue.gif

Can anyone checked? Last I self-survey for 19'' monitor and found G900W BenQ at quite cheap price. Later I found out that the monitor display height felt like 1 cm shorter compare to other similar product with the width the same after some rough measurement using my arm at the shops. Probably it's just me, but can anyone clarify on the matter?

one question.. i just got my HP w2228h 22" Monitor.. okay, the display is nice.
The scenario is like this,

1. when the pc is on, my monitor is not making any noises.
2. when i shutdown / sleep the pc, the monitor will make a screeching noise that is very faint if you're 1 meters away. if im sitting at the chair, the noise can be heard.
3. another thing is, i get headache when im near the cpu.

1. ok ur monitor looks good here, im also using 1 of the hp monitor but mine is 24"
2. thats little weird, why ur monitor got a screeching noise when turned off? my monitor doesn't have any weird sounds except when i change my "My HP Display" to another mod...
3. maybe u need sometime to adept with large screen monitor..

by the way have u installed all the monitor driver?, maybe the screeching sound appeared coz of you dun install the hp monitor driver yet...

If dint compare the price, between Benq E2400HD and DELL Ultra Sharp 2408WFP, which one is better ?? I m looking for better graphic for movie(HD or Blu-Ray) and gaming(PC and Console).
Really confuse about their spec now....E2400HD got 10000:1 DCR, but 2408WFP only got 3000:1 DCR rclxub.gif

what do you mean dimension? is it reso or the size of monitor?

for minimum requirement for LCD that support HDMI input i suppose is 1920x1020 reso and 22".

I guess the cheapest LCD that hv HDMI and 22" is BenQ E2200W for RM 7xx only

those DCR are just for markerting gimmick..the benq is a TN panel. Top compare both, the DELL (S-PVA)is my choice anytime

If you have the budget, the Dell is a better monitor being a VA. Better color reproduction compared to a TN panel. But the price difference quite huge though.
