4k is quite gud d. zenn could help u do better than esk and infinity. neva heard of the brand of x-over b4.

support 2nd hand ori products... most of my stuffs also 2nd hand but serve me damn well. new stuffs are onli for glamour and need time to run in, most of the real gud stuffs are bullet proof, can last for a long time. actually i wouldn't recommend sound stream for SQ especially the new soundstreams. zenn got some nice SQ stuffs for sale. i oso got a set of boston acoustics for sale. at least cheaper and better than the ESK. mine is comparable to HSK series.

just make sure it's Hertz, not Herts, Herz or something like dat. Italian company, a reputable car audio company worldwide, famous for their Mille speakers . Nightkids is ah beng's blasting brand, nothing to shout about, in other words, cap ayam. but most beginners will ignore wat we say and still buy the cap ayams cos a lot of their frens oso using that brand.

all i can say is it's the imitation of a German brand 'MB Quart'. so, u take a guess on how gud it can be.

this PG is 2x40w and 1x180W @4ohm. XLS 10 is 250W rms if i recall correctly. shud not be a problem if u dun blast excessively.

not bad, nice sub for a very nice price. now almost imposible to get at that kinda price d. amp for mid around dat la, 80w shud be sufficiient. how u plan to play active, using hu to cross?

dats ur HU, u gotta figure out if it's capable of running active. u just need to have an HU dat can cross at least up to 3kHz before thinking of going active with ur HU. another option is get an external electronic crossover to do the job.

u have some nice spare amps there, abeye. Keep it up. 6k for all of ur setup including spares, u must have gotten them for a really cheap price. respect...

autotek mostly for SPL uses. so if u r into SQ, can skip thru this brand la.

any speaker can be used for slow song. just see whether it sounds gud or not. wats ur budget for speakers? and wat are the rest of ur system consist of?

i see, i really wud recommend to use dat money to get a single set. i saw there is someone selling 2nd hand focal polykevlar 3 ways for rm1.3k. it's at www.mycarhifi.com nick name vickyz, perhaps u can nego with him to keep within ur budget. i wouldn't wan to install any comp set at the back. it realli disturb the front stage. or if u wan just use the current one. all the money u spent u wan maximum pleasure for ur ears right?

normally we put nothing at the back as i said it distrbs the front staging. imagine the singer singing both from the front and back. if u realli wan to put something, just leave the current one as it is and tune the gain to the lowest possible, afterall it's just for the passengers, no point spending money and u won't wanna hear vocals coming from the back. most SQ ICE players remove the rear speakers. while SPL players is alwez the more the merrier.

+1, even 12" subs has problem going down to 20Hz, let alone 8" playin 17Hz.

Added on October 13, 2009, 6:17 pmboth are equally gud.it just depends which one suits ur kind of music. usually newbies won't be able to detect the differences, they sound almost the same, just the midbass like i said each one has its pro and cons.. aiya, just get the cheaper one and hentam first, if u like the sound then keep using it. if dun like sell it and go for other speakers.

Added on October 21, 2009, 5:46 pmAV Quart cap ayam, copying the famous brand from Germany MB Quart. Mohawk are just for blasting, nothing special abt it. u can do soundproofing to eliminate those noises in ur car.
