QUOTE(Quazacolt @ Oct 29 2012, 06:08 PM) who care what the brand call when it come to a budget system? as long as the amp perform what it should without giving problem then it is a good amp. Some branded local brand amp that sell much more expensive always giving problem with many"TRANS-fat" added inside....so at the end of the day, i believe eating potato is better than the trans-fat........ |

for budget setup, i would also recommend Aura amp. currently using 2 channel one and pretty satisfied. clean n clear sound.
#but i hv not tried other amps la, as i'm a beginner n tis is my 1st amp. =) i also believe good installation will contribute 50% of d sound quality. so equipement 50%, good installation 50%. my 2 cents. hehe. This post has been edited by hcgui: Oct 30 2012, 01:16 PM |

QUOTE(Sam9 @ Oct 29 2012, 11:49 PM) But quite many people say is good, they got own website too but Malaysian one. The prices also quite expensive. My friend fixed one AQ subwoofer for 1.2k. 1.2k? Well, sound is subjective anyway... What people say is fine, then we go audit and see if we like it. Then we attend TT and make comparison with others. btw OOT: Roughly when is Vic's place will be ready, any date in mind? I hope I can make it. He is still offering free gift/lucky draw, right? |

"Each potato generates about 0.5 volts and 0.2 milliamperes."
So you'd need 24 potatoes to equal 12v and 0.0002 amperes. So if you want a 12v 300a system, you'd need 1 500 000 strings of 24 potatoes. I get 36,000,000 potatoes. 24 series'd strings of 1,500,00 parallel taters. Based on the average potato weight, you'd need 45,000,000 pounds of potatoes, and voltage would begin to drop instantly. |
