maybe you can try entry level alpine type g comp for your budget. It is comp and it has a brand. Other than that not much. Either cap ayam or something like low end mohawk, soundstream. Not the best maybe but the best cost also the best la. ICE is really about the money.

Hi am new here, trying to find a shallow subwoofer for my pick up Triton, only aware of this Soundstream S-13BX, not sure can get in KL or not. Any other brands that have a shallow Sub fitted in their ori box? i mean without custom making the box?

i'm thinking of upgrading front speakers, i was recommended the following in my price range: RS Audio, Eton, Rainbow and Focals.

i don't see RS Audio & Eton on the list on the first page. anyone have good experiences on these? they fall into the high quality segment?

They are branded item and should be of quality component.

Should not be said as "high quality", and please make sure those are not fake component.

Errrrrrrrrr....

Since you said the dealer is reputable, guess that should be ok kua.

But actually not all will have fake items. Like Malaysia Focal, yes. Soundstream yes... But I have not come across fakes in Malaysia except Focal only. Maybe others can advice more...

Got Etone.

Focal got sharper highs (fengtau, house), Rainbow clear but quite relax (jazz), Eton bass is pretty good (r&b), no idea about RS.

ah okay.... well, i presume fakes won't reproduce sounds which are sub-par right? since the dealer would normally test each group of speakers in the car being installed one by one with my CD of choice and as long as i like to listen to compare them, i would be able to tell the fakes right?
