can't blame u oso... ICE in malaysia is so damn expensive, the dealer jack up the price and we consumers suffer, and oso thanks to the tax of our gov. dats why everyone turns to cap ayam, and make it famous cos they are the onli one affordable. u see those ICE pros usually dun buy from malaysia, mostly oversea. Even ICE in singapore is so cheap. 1 more factor is lack of ICE enthusiasts in malaysia oso, everybody wans onli cheap and gud (cap ayam), they neva consider to pay for quality, unlike mat salleh, they are willing to pay for quality... btw, i neva heard of audio phonar. u can check some of the brands popular in europe through emmanet.com

never heard of deebezt. it has to be either its damn good or cap ayam. hehe. cuz this is the only chances that i may not know a brand. anyway, dont take my word for granted.

yes there r many brands have their factories in China including some famous brands. its mainly cuz of the cheaper cost of production there. but, u must also be careful cuz there r many fake stuff from China with all famous brands. u can usually tell with the they r being offered. some forumers here r also selling those stuff. juz be careful.

i feel that sony is juz famous. its usable but it is very very far from brands that r more into car audio. in terms of sound, quality n others, sony is still lacking compared to more established brands like dls, rainbow, alpine. if i were u, i wont go for sony. its cheap n thats y v hear alot bout sony. but if u like it, go ahead.

As far as I know, Sony only produced 2 audiophile products-the XES system and the C90 HU.
Since then, they concentrate on the mass market (with much lower pricing but hugh market) who demand nothing more than hearing radio and news broadcast with occasional CD play.
So they are considered low end or entry level by those who have demands for better SQ in the car.
