Hi I am thinking to get Iphone soon (jst sold the 8GB unit,anyway it is my fren's)

Now what hitting my brain now: Should I go for 16GB or remain 8GB...hmm

Actually how's the usage (space been used) by u all? 8GB enuf so far?
The installed applications takes lots of space ?(I consider myself will be installing lots).

as far as i can tell...apps don take all tat much of hard disk space...
u shuld 1st look at da amt of music n movies ur gonna have..
if u tink 8 is good enough for u...u r good to go with 8...
otherwise, 16 does no harm 2 u...
another ting, decide base on ur budget as well..

hello there..last nite after upload songs into my iphone via ifun..and reboot my phone as usual..suddenly my ipod app. not functioning at all..FYI, iphone currently firmware 2.1,2g and JB. I can't view any song even on the ifun folder i able to see all those songs and videos. Pls help and advise accordingly.TQ and very much appreciated.

aiyooo....very scared to JB my own laaa...the iPod icon is there n when click there's no song or videos file at all...also can switch button between Playlist,artist, songs & etc. It just stuck there. When connect to itunes it show device not recognized anymore...but if using ifun the files is there...help me pls.cant provide pic bcoz unable to connect via itunes unless restore to factory setting. tks

read no 2 and no 15 on first post. resync your mp3's, video files etc after you JB.

tks...juz to confirm..regarding my phone prob is it possible if just download the 2.1 firmware??? everythin is ok except the iPod control...

Use iFunBox ... navigate to raw file system and go to /private/var/mobile/Media and delete the iTunes_Control folder. Open iTunes and sync back all your songs, tv series or movies. That should solve your problem without restoring the phone.

U cannot simply drag and drop mp3's into iPhone with iFunBox. Doing that will corrupt the ipod database. Thats why the itunes cannot recognize and ask to restore. Always use iTunes to sync your media. Its different from iPod where itunes will process the DB handling and processing where iPod only receive the file. In iPhone, the DB handling and processing is done within the iPhone itself (as it's a small computer with OS).
