Really dunno wat happen

Clear all your songs from the phone and re-sync back in. If you manage music manually then u have to drag it all again. If not then it will be easy.

Added on November 3, 2008, 12:30 pmHave u been able to surf with the phone before this? If not, did U already activate the 3G with celcom? U can test by swapping the sim with other phone and try so access the net. If u can surf with other phone (non-iPhone) using Celcom 3G then we need to look into your network setting.

u mean as in uncheck all of it, then check balik n sync?

I think it would be good if someone could address these questions...

1. Iphone 3g and 2g whats the difference apart from the obvious?? (The bluetooth which one can use to transfer files??)
2. are the processor in 3g or 2g better? are the reception any better?
3. softwares I know 2G doesn't have Cydia..so thats the disadvantage!!

Something like that. U clear the phone first then re-sync back the content. Sometimes it get jumble up.

for me the bluetooth is dam strange only for pairing purposes.. kenot transfer file which is quite odd...

Problem Encountered : Cant Detect Maxis / Celcom line
Steps Had Taken (list down) : Switched Sim Card between Celcom 2G and Maxis 3G. Try plug it in iTunes. able to detect and sync.

Other Info / Remark : The unit belongs to a fren. I got no idea how iphone works and so was the fren. The unit should be a singapore unit ( anyway to check? ). I think it cant detect any maxis / celcom as no signal bar present at the top left. any idea?

If u can see Cydia/Installer then it's already jailbroken. To check where the phone is from ... go to ... http://support.apple.com/kb/HT1937 and check the part number. U can check the part number from the box or in settings.

U can't just assume that it is official Singapore unit, coz it might be a locked US unit that they sell in singapore...and there is a difference in the cause based on the description of that problem...

If it is really official sngapore unit, the possibilities are:
1. He/she ticked activate the iPhone button while jailbreaking
2. The sim card used is too old
3. The iPhone is faulty
