MP of N82, V4 lah, not V3.

It won't hang to use 4GB/8GB micro SD. If it hangs, it is due to the phone, the firmware or application installed.

Added: Unless the micro-SD itself is faulty or manufacturing defect.

Maximum is 32GB micro-SDHC (SDHC current limitation, although the theoretical limit is 2TB). Not yet out in market, except normal SDHC/CF cards.
Currently 16GB micro-SDHC is on testing and will official release soon (perhaps for Christmas)
In Malaysia only has 8GB max now.

Anyone play Need For Speed: Pro Street for Symbian S60v3 ? Can share the Codes that can use in PC/X-Box/PS3 ?

Today spend a lot of time and effort to search for how to *cough* N82 S60v3 unsigned app.

Seems like N82 v30.x firmware is very secure and have to wait patiently until someone found out how to "sign" it.

There may be a workaround way to "downgrade" to V20 but I need someone with V20.x firmware to PM me. Take note it may need a lot of time and effort from the person, at least a few hours of commitment. Things you need:
1) PC/Laptop
2) N82 USB cable
3) micro-SDHC USB card reader / converter
4) Time
5) small risk to brick it...
6) *cough* *cough* your N82
7) Of course, your N82 + micro-SDHC card (2GB with at least 200MB free space)

For the *cough* *cough*, below are the summary of my research for those with V30 firmware.

N95-1, N95 8GB = all can *cough*

Various success with N96, N81

N82 = None at all

N85 = None also, as still not widely used.

And I have tried nearly all BiNPDA, Sign 100%, HelloCarbide, ROMPatcher, installserver, Caps On/Off, FCA00000 stuff, signsis, symbiansigned, Drakkarious, python, etc.


Edit: Do not try to downgrade using JAF, NSS, etc. Confirm will brick your N82.

127th post for N82 V1->V4 thread It's Nokia DT22.

Don't worry, I was looking for this in Jan '08 around KL, asked around Low Yat and a few Nokia authorised centres at Sg. Wang, Pavillion, Mid-valley, KLCC No one knows about DT22 either

In the end, I bought it in MBK, BKK, around 500 Baht (RM50).

Just normal shop like LowYat/Imbi type. If you ever been to MBK 4th/5th floor, you'll be amazed with the varieties of phones, sim packs, accessories, etc. offered.

Agree, but for Nokia authorised/direct centres, they must stock/display Nokia product range. Like Apple concept store. If don't display, how to promote and sell ?

Again, Li-Ion batteries charger/adapter will auto cut off once full charge ("Battery is full") is achieved. There is no point to further charge it.

Here's a test. When charging, feel the adapter with your fingers/hand. It is warm.

Once battery is full, wait 30 minute (go for lunch/meal). Touch again, it should be cool. Why ? It is because the phone is not drawing/pulling anymore power from the adapter to charge it.

You can feel similiar warm/cool on the back of N82. The battery is a bit warm when charging. Once full, no more power is going in, and it will be cool.

My advise is NOT worth to upgrade also. I also regret upgrading it.

Added on November 20, 2008, 4:39 pmNo, do NOT ever try it. Many overseas people try it and it bricked their phone. Some lucky ones manage to recover back to v30.x firmware.

You know what you did

Just try direct install with v5.00.10. But remember you need the other two files: support and basemap or something. These are 3 main files for GMXT, the GPS engine.

Then it is recommended you use malsingmap which is another 1 more main file for the GPS map in M'sia and S'pore only (Some say Brunei also ).

If an 8GB is selling RM85 in LY Plaza, then a 16GB should be around RM180-220 as I predict earlier (include some premium because is new product and just launch, reaching M'sia). If you patient to wait till Apr'09 PC Fair, then it should be around RM145-165.

Anyone see if arrived in M'sia ? How come no news on PC Fair Dec'08 ? No such event this year ?
