I'm not sure the E72 will jeopardize the E63 sales. The E72 is the natural successor of the E71, and the E63 will always remain much cheaper, as it is today versus the E71.

it may not jeopardise the price per se, but i'm still fairly certain the launch of the E72 will push down the price of the E71. this will in turn push down the price of the E63 because you can't have the E63 and the E71 in the same price bracket cause it wouldn't make sense.. everyone would be running to buy the E71 instead... that's my logic lah... heheh.. =)

again, this is nonsense from my head about how this works...
any new phone that is launched will affect the phones in its class and the class below it.
however, it shouldn't affect the phone that is above it.

for example, the E72 will probaby affect the E71 and E63.
however, if there is an E64, it would affect the E63, but probably not the E71 or E72...

this is purely my theory.. i have no research or proof to back it up... heheh...

Speaking of the E64, I was simply implying a price reduction on the E63 only Hence we share the same rationale!

i tried to send an image file from the e63 to the pc via bluetooth and it failed. anyone face the same problem and how was it solved?

phone 2 phone via bluetooth is ok though.

Try restart the PC, delete the pairing between phone and PC and retry a new pairing

Hi guys... it's me again.. still got questions to ask....

1. Disinto, wanted to find out from you, what's the status of your D-pad? you managed to replace it under warranty? Anyone else having the same problem with the D-pad as Disinto
2. I found out that the E63 3.5mm rubber plug isn't attached to the phone. So, where do you put the rubber plug when you're using the jack?
3. I'm currently using the super cheap and super old nokia 2610 and after 3 years, the keypad colour has faded and looks really crappy since my fingers are fat and i tend to use my nails to key in numbers. will i end up messing up the E63 keypad much faster?

1. No I haven't go to a Nokia center... A saleperson told me that Zitron would take it under warranty, but I'm doubtful. I'll see next week... Now the D-pad is really horrible.
2. Well I just keep it in my hand, but it's not the easiest solution haha.
3. The keypad is fine, the keys are really robust and the painting is properly done. The only problem is the D-pad for me.

perhaps PC problem and not the phone. Try update your bluetooth driver in PC?

1. Never had any problem with the D-pad (almost 4 months now) so far although I'm using it often when playing games.

got 2nd hand E71 (1 year old) going for almost similar price to a brand new E63... although i'm biased towards getting a new phone, the E71 offers the autofocus camera and GPS, which although i won't really use, it's still kinda tempting... hahahahah... how?

at first i thought can wait till prices drop a bit more.. but i'm thinking may not be able to wait too long cause my current phone is really going bonkus on me....

Come on, stop hesitating and buy it haha. Well if the E71 is in mint condition and still has warranty, go for it!

u miss out manual and Nokia warranty card... i cant rber got comes with installation CD or not... hehe...
