the first goal was really nice work from Modric. and our second was a lucky deflection from Bentley's free kick. nonetheless, Bentley also contributed to the first goal by making an uncomfortable cross in from the right side.

glad we're back on winning track...now let's do the same to Birmingham!

the unfortunate thing is 'arry doesn't like Pav...while the fans want him to be given a chance to shine...or else people will say we bought the wrong Russian...

now he has got to start Pav on Sunday against Everton.....

Pav could have scored 4 yesterday but hey, a W is a W!....most importantly are the 3 points in the bag.

Stoke held Villa to a draw and I think our next game against them is going to be tough....

Stoke beat us earlier in the season and Stoke, Hull and Wolves have demonstrated that parking a bus in front of their goals is enough to frustrate our flowing football. THAT SAID, Bale is turning out to be a solid left winger (which many thought he would be rather than a left back). It would be interesting how we will play at Stoke. I quite like the new midfield foursome of Bale, Moddle, Palacios and Kranjcar.
