Finally, 1st night which i managed to sleep well after watching spurs match... phew... last night game, Bentley finally able to cross some ball like a true England winger, Modric looks like a $16million dollar man wit his free-role, King... wat else can i say bout him, a true captain indeed, Gomes finally proved why he replaced former England #1...
The rest... Roman looks good, Bent... eeerrrr... hope for more to come from both of 'em if they manage to combine.
Can't wait for this weekend... a reviving side spurs take on a youthful gunners...

Modric was my MOTM for sure. Tireless running, and great first touches.
Er, the trip to the Emirates is midweek, not weekend. Harry's baptism of fire continues....
Redknapp is an awesome manager... Happy so see Harry finally decided to pursue this long time ambition in managing Spurs... A good club like Spurs should expect none better than Harry... He's a tough and smart man...
It could be that your lack of established front men means playing a 4-5-1 is not just a matter of choice.
true. agree with that. now they already taste the first win of the season. Although I'm not spurs fans, but to see a good team struggling really feel very sad.
I do not believe that Spurs will be relegated and I expect them to finish midtable this season. I've always had a soft spot and used to follow you lot a little back in the day. I remember seeing Eric Thorstvedt in goal with Gary Mabbut in front of him. Gazza was bossing the midfield providing ammunition to Gary Lineker. I also used to enjoy watching David Ginola play. He was to me one of the best wingers in the world at the time.
Aside from the obvious lack of frontmen, there isn't any steel in midfield. This was evident the moment Michael Carrick and Edgar Davids left. Teemu Tainio provided some muscle in that department but now it's left solely to Zakora to put in the crunching challenges. Also Ledley King has been missing and Michael Dawson hasn't matured into the player many hoped he would when he was a promising young un and Nottingham Forest.

and back on the days Teddy Sheringham was a regular goal scorer for them
