Yeah, most probably will be travelling for 1 month, but I can't think of many places to go to.
If I'm going to work at the East coast, I should be able to go to the cities during my off days.
And the only place I plan on visiting over at the West coast should only be Vegas and the Canyons lol.

Btw my convo is in July as well, but I deferred it to November for WAT tongue.gif

What make Alaska the best place? Is it because of the work hour ? or the tips ? I got a sample job list and the job details from OOTB, the pay and minimum hour  is almost the same as other employer, so this make me wondering  hmm.gif

Best place in terms of earning money because I spent when I still work at CP too. :/ Holiday in Alaska is really costly. Minimum wage and hours are set by the government,so they subjected to the law. Work there depends on your hardwork.

I use southwest airline from new york to san francisco. I encourage you to fly because the journey from west to east take 8 hours. If amtrak it takes 3 days.

the visa interview was very easy...for me, the whole interview only lasted for few minutes ...lol...the questions asked were:
"what are you studying"
"which university are you attending?"
"how do you know about this program?"
"are you going with friend?"

"your visa is approved."

That's all....lol...

but i would say its all depend on your luck ...depend on which interviewer you got...some interviewers are rather strict...

My last trip is LA and I fly back KL via EVA Air. Enjoy your trip haha! Anyway it is snowing at north so bring more warm clothing. I encourage you to buy more warm clothing there because it is authentic.

Well it is almost the same. If you planning to stop some cities, you can book multi-way haha.

here is my brief itinerary during the trip:

17/9-23/9 - New york
23/9-27/9 - san francisco
28/9-3/10 - LA
3/10-4/10 - San diego(staying at mum friend's house)
4/10 - 6/10 - Las Vegas n grand canyon
7/10 - 11/10 - San Diego
12 - 13/10 - Disneyland and universal studios

Hope this helps. PS: dont stay too long in LA, it is pretty boring after i stay there for 3 nites. 2 nites i sleep and enjoy in my hostel mansion like a boss.
